are you trying to do a spin move? Or are you trying to do any dribble move at all? That has been my problem...I fall in love with the R-stick and dribble moves even in the paint. I'll make a move with the r-stick to get there and then try again in the crowded paint and lose the ball.

If I just dribble and press the R2 and square when I get to the paint, my guy will take it strong to the basket. Or you can stop and pop.

Give me a team where one guy takes the bulk of the shots and I'll play against them. It seems more to me that the focus is on team play and running the offenses. So, unless all of the plays are run for a particular player it seems the scoring is rather balanced. I will add though that if a team has a strong post and they run a 4 out 1 in, the post will at least get touches. What he does with it after that I don't know. But if the offense fits the personnel it seems like they will play to their strengths.

You have to start your shot way sooner. And don't try to take more than one dribble with a big anywhere near the paint. Also, go to the Live forum and look up Layup solutions.

How long are you playing your halves?

In dynasty mode I have a couple questions. Are the random schedules more balanced? Last year it seemed a powerhouse would play like 5 top 10 teams to start the season and some others would play cupcake city. Also can you view the box scores of other games around the country? Lastly are the preseason tourneys played even if the user team isnt in them? thanks?
