That doesn't surprise me they cut them out completely this year.

They never botherd to research them to begin with and the roster and ratings were a joke anyway......Any guy with passion for old school rosters and teams could have done a better job than EA

They were just slapping a number on the players and giving them a height and weight and calling them Classic teams

Blue ribbon is for team ratings.....

EA tries to implement player ratings themselves which is why you see 500 guys with the same ratings every year..

It's tough enough for them to get the accurate rosters and you guys expect them to have solid ratings aswell.... (sarcasm)

As I mentioned above, Rhode Island's starting five is 100% accurate. Now that situation with all those guys getting booted off the team is a different story, but I'd say all hope for mid-majors may not be lost.

Yea, I saw your post...it kinda baffles me that they get Rhode Island's roster more accurate than UK's...no offense to Rhode Island, but that is silly if you ask me. I'm glad they got your team's roster accurate though, I will just edit UK's, it won't take that long lol.

Haha, no offense taken, I know what you mean. I don't know enough about UK to know how accurate their roster is, but like you say, at least we can edit things to our liking!

I have two questions, is there in-game injuries, unlike in nba live 10? Another is in dynasty, can your coach change teams during the offseason or your stuck with the same team??

Re: NCAA BASKETBALL IMPRESSIONS THREAD PS3/360

man if it wasnt for the damn recession i woulda had this game like fri already! But honestly it sounds good to me! People complain about every last game that comes out! Realize these are video games....they are not gonna be perfect! People praise ch2k8 but when it 1st came out it was bashed too! Ch did have lots of depth... but at the same time the game play does move slow as hell, animations and all! Every last game to ever come out has flaws...and every new game that comes out somebody is gonna jump all over it an bash it! If you didnt like ncaa 09, u wont like it til possibly ncaa 13 and even then ull have gripes! If you dont like it go be a developer and change it urself!

Anything else, didn't play last year, didn't like last year, didn't like the demo, I'd strongly suggest you rent the game before buying.

The game is good, the game is fun, but the game isn't perfect. It has some rough edges, some are sharper than others. There are going to be things that some people can overlook and while others can't.

Customization level, announcers use of the name database, AI tourney selection logic, animations, limited individuality of players, no cpu ballhandler identifier, are all things that are rough spots for the game, and there are probably others that people will find. People need to ask themselves how important each of these aspects of the game are to them, before dropping $60.

In the end, the game does a good job of capturing college basketball. It got me through last winter and I expect it will help me get through this winter as well.

Take care...
Well said CB, and thanks for the impressions!, very much appriciate it! I know you said the presentation is really good this year, and that alone is worth the purchase for me!..ESPN and CBS presentation? I can't believe it!!, Finally, we have TV presentation! Not one, but TWO!!

thanks again!

peace
