For my skill level [or lack there of] AS is damn near perfect for me. I really enjoy the gameplay a lot. But yeah...scoring enough has been a problem. I see a lot on replays, the many scoring chances I've blown, because I just react too dang slow. And that of course is on me...not the game. If I can just get quicker on the sticks, I'll be in great shape.
Gonna try what you are using cause I been frustrated with this game. I don't think I have one two games in a row with my beloved Rangers.

In my experience anyway DG...the games [off-line] vary around quite a bit, which to me is great. But it can make settling on sliders difficult. Just when ya think you've found the right setup for yourself...you have a game that makes your settings seem all screwed up. Then it's so tempting to start messing around with the sliders...again, and again... Before ya know it, your playing with the damn sliders, more than the game itself.

With the setup I mentioned, some games the cpu plays pretty timid, and I've out shot the cpu ohh...43-23. While in other games, the cpu has been very aggressive, and it's been almost the complete opposite. So again for me...theres been a lot of variety. But most of my games have been very close in shots on goal. And overall flow of the game. But admittedly, my skill level is pretty low.

And the bit more "sloppy" gameplay has returned. Not really too sure of the actual benefits I'm sacrificing with the deleting. But I do enjoy the gameplay more without the patch being active. So I think I'll go patch less for the time being.
How did you delete it?

Yea I suck and being the Rangers isn't easy. So the game is tough then using a team that is OK makes it even harder, obviously but still tons of fun.

Hopefully I remember this right...

You go into "System settings" I believe, and then select "System maintenance". That should delete the patch. This is for the 360.

If I screwed up Rhudey...you can Google it on how to delete patches. That'll explain it better than me. Hope it works for ya.

Ok ,
I just got my ps3 back and after my first few games with the latest patch and my perfect sliders heres my impressions .
I notice less or hardly any cpu mid center cycling.
A more realistic cpu attack that shoots alot more in the proper situation and believe it or not less tic tac toe passing.
More board work and sloppy play on both sides .
I also notice more realistic bursts of attack by both hu and cpu , give and take .
Well thats my take Did they ever give a list of what was addressed on the ps3 patch .

Thanks , but sadly when I tried to play a simple Playoff mode its a cpu boost fest just unplayable I wouldnt even mind but I cant even create 2 slider sets to address this as I love playing all mode .
Also checkout faceoffs did they add these lockouts if I lose my stick doesnt even move .
Im just getting tired of the edits 3 months in as this boost stuff made popular by MLB the Show 09 to mimic sim at all costs instead of solid sliders are wrecking some Great games .
Even NBA live 09 has this
