Maybe we can get an entirely new thread going post patch on the PS3? Only for gameplay impressions on the PS3?

The PS3 patch has the exact same bugs as the 360 version (have been told)...so, there's no real point clogging this thread up with another 100 odd posts about bugs once it drops soon.

A gameplay only PS3 thread would be useful to get everyone's views on what's changes in the PS3 version...solely gameplay.

So...I am anticipating this thread is going to be derailed by freezing complaints, end game AI complaints, O/T bugs etc.

Which was fair enough for the 360...but now that we know there's going to be a second patch for both, seems pointless to make comments on it etc. Gameplay impressions would be good though. I won't have much time to play a lot late this week, but I'm sure everyone would like to know what's changed gameplay wise on the PS3.

Side note: Has there ever been a patch before where you knew the bugs and knew there would be another patch to fix them? It's kind of a unique situation. The patch to fix the patch is coming...LOL

Let's see how it goes first. I think PS3 owners are anticipating the problems we already stated.

If it gets out of hand, we'll lock this down, and start a new one with all that info. outlined. I'm not closed to the idea, just want to play it by ear first.

Fair enough

I think everyone knows to expect the bugs...so people will probably not be too active posting about them / angry etc anyway.

I think I'm going to just take the attitude from 2011 on that Madden comes out in late November and the NBA games come out in December...d/l the final patches first day and roll on. LOL

PS3 patch is out, but no NCAA Demo.

Played a game Spurs vs Blazers and so far not one problem. The gameplay feels alot better and I can notice the game speed tuned down and even defense feels tighter. Game felt so sloppy before the patch with game speed to fast and all the turnovers and steals. Its way toned down.

I can finally throw the ball down low to a big man and post up instead of hoping my guy would post up or have him fumble the ball like he was Keith Vanhorn.

Only 1 game played but I wanted to post something. Its 3am Ill probly play a bunch more games b4 I call it a nite. I really hope that this ps3 patch plays out diffrent and better then the 360 patch.

Just d/led it also...and agree with your comments. This is after just a few mins...but it's instantly noticeable how much 'tigher' everything is + the more realistic speed.

I also freaking LOVE having the back down button back

Just got done with game 2 for play now. Feels like all the players were given -45 agaility or something like that, and also noticed a delay or alittle lag in everything which was never there before. The control felt like I was playing someone online, but I was offline. I played Raptors vs Mavs and the cpu did alot of dumb things. Dirk fired a handful of 3s like 4,6,8ft back of the 3pt line fading away with a full shot clock. Cpu was up by 2 in 4th Q with 28 secs left in game and 22 secs left on shot clock and terry shoots a faded away 20 ft jumper tripple teamed.

No freezing or anything so Im happy so far. Just hoping nobody encounters that OT bug.

They did something major to the gameplay besides drop the speed down. My gut says the agility was droped big time. Its more real so Im not mad about it just got to get use to it.

So nice to post up though get double teamed and kick out out.

One thing that bothers me though is when you pump fake the cpu and they bite they still are right on you.
