I love spinach and broccoli, by the way.
Broccoli(Cooked not raw) I dig, Spinach requires a bit more masking of the taste . Back to NHL10, the gameplay is fantastic really. It's just the flaws outside of that, that mar the game somewhat for me. OP, what sliders are using and how is your Franchise going?

lovin' this game. At first I thought I couldn't score, but every game is different. Just beat the islanders 2-0 with the Caps, but also won a game 8-4 against the flyers. I am 6-2-2 so far after 10 games. Very realistic. This is on Pro level.

No sliders here, just All Star difficulty.

I am 4-9-2 to start my year with Chicago. I'm having trouble scoring. But pro is just too easy. Any tips on building a great dynasty team?

I was hoping it was just a bit of a quirk with the first few games I played post patch, that even with the cpu's pass accuracy set at 0...the cpu was back to tape to tape passing.

But after several games now, in my experience anyway...the cpu's passing is near perfect again. Pre-patch, I could really tell the cpu pass ACC was at zero. Now, 0 seems more like default. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I'm really enjoying this years game.

For me...All-Star level provides a very solid and fun challenge. With the GM mode...yeah, theres a few "WTH's" going on, here and there. But overall, I really look forward to playing the games. Most fun I've had with a sports game in quite awhile.

Re: NHL 10 Patch Available, Post Impressions Here

I'm seeing the cpu's pass pct to be anywhere from 81-84%, with slider at 0 (on DM's all-star cpu no cheat sliders), with my pct being anywhere from 78-81%. Are these pct's ok, or should i be looking for better results.

Also, I would like to know who else went from playing on Pro diff to All-Star post patch. I was on DM's "Pro-Sim" sliders before patch and was having good games, and still struggling, but after patch, the game seemed "dumb" on Pro. So i had to move it to All-Star and am liking it (post patch, with this slider set). Anyone else find Pro non-playable post patch?

Re: Thoughts on NHL 10?

For the most part, this is a fantastic game. Gameplay is terrific, with response movements and smoothly flowing animation. I couldn't score to save my life, but tinkering with the sliders has given me an enjoyable balance. There are certainly issues with the sim engine in Be a GM, but the way it is set up, with the scouting and the ability to trade during the draft, is a blast. I have had numerous freezing issues in this mode, though, so I would suggest you save early and often (different save points, not a single save). I also love the way fighting is now handled - the ability to start a fight whenever I want (like to get my team going) is a great addition. If they could tune the sim engine, and solve the freezing issues, this would be an absolutely perfect game.

Not to derail things, but I'm pretty confident there is an Impressions Thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...thread-60.html

Edit: And of course, after I post this, they unsticky the impressions thread.
