I thank all of u guys for your feedback in these forums. I have decided today that I am NOT downloading this patch. I will use sliders and manual edits for DNA to make any necessary changes.

I'm not feeling this patch. It seems like anytime I get close to the defender with the ballhandler he goes into the protect the ball animation. I've only played two games so far but it seems like the patch made the game worse to me. I'll have to play some more later.

If I come across like a Jerk on these points, then so be it I guess, but I feel like most of this is simply frustration with losing, and people flat refusing to adapt.

Ive played about 20 games of dynasty mode, and probably another 20 or 30 play now games..and I dont get slaughtered on the boards routinely by the CPU.

There are things you can do with your coaching settings, you can rebound manually.

On defense, I play 100% on ball..with no slider adjustments, and I guard to tendency.

There is no magic tricks involved. I have run the CPU off of the court, I have barely beat them and I have also lost my share.

Ive had a great competitive balance between myself and the CPU..on default all star.

I cannot speak to how everyone is playing..but if you are getting hammered by CPU runs routinely, and getting smashed on the boards consistantly, the problem isnt the game...its the user, refusing to adjust the way he is playing.

I agree with the feel..its weird...One of the more bothersome things is ONLINE...Guys will bomb 3's with tight D on them but if I'm at the rim or within 10 ft they can't hit a wide open put back or midrange jumper...How the hell you gonna bomb 3's and not hit wide open shots...and I mean guys catching the ball, scrambling back to the 3pt line and launching them.

Also in transition D how does my D not get back and always seem to give up an open 3 in the corner???

I don't get it...Online play was better b4 the patch now its just a mess IMO...I will give a few more shots but after that if this game does not come through or the devs do not address this game soon...Its on the shelf and going back..This is very disappointing as post patch I was really enjoying the game on Superstar with the work around to make fatigue work...Now its no subs...no fatigue and J.R. Smith doing his best impression of Teen Wolf

The pace of the game is all jacked up.

That's clearly noticeable..the CPU seems to be in "7 seconds or less mode."


They are also forcing all kinds of passes into traffic, in the half court which is leading to unnecessary turnovers and breaks.

I can now break guys down off of the dribble easily, with guys like Steve Blake.

They've dummied down the game for the user, and its a little irritating.

I hope the complainers are happy now.

While I really admire the development team for putting so many fixes in the patch, including the post up button that I really like, I have to say that I liked the game better pre-patch.

Like others have seen here, I have also see the CPU offense try to get rid of the ball in most cases (not all the time) in the first 7 seconds of the shot clock. I've also seen some animations around the basket occur way too fast. As for 3 pt shooting percentages they seem ok in the few games i've played.

I general, the game feels different now, and I think I may clear the cache, and forgo any DNA updates until these issues get resolved. I had fun before the patch playing with left4dead's sliders on pro difficulty, and I think I'll go back to it.
