NBA Live 10 Patch Impressions (360, PS3)

I just downloaded the patch, seems to be better all-around game in my opinion. One thing I don't like is that they still travel and double dribble. The animation where you pass the ball and the man goes forward with the ball then stops and is able to dribble again is still there other then that I'm pretty happy. Not seeing as many off.rebounds with cpu, cpu has stopped waiting until last seconds to shoot, I think this patch is a success imo.

Well one thing I can tell you to make scoring off the dribble a bit easier is to use the arrow when you drive. A lot of time what is happening when you go in the paint is you think you are going one direction when to the game you aren't.

So pay attention to that arrow when driving or moving in general. Don't look at the player as your guide (Which is what you do in most bball games) use the arrow.

It will seem odd at first but it will go a long way in helping you finish in the lane or on the break. Now this hasn't really helped me get more fouls but now I'm at least able to finish w/ some consistency.

I hate OS. I really wish EA posted on a site that wasnt garbage with free speech. I dont even know why I waste my time posting anymore.

Sorry Im not excited about a half aszed patch that adds as many problems as it fixed.

Played it more last night, and there's definitely things changed here for the worst. Three point shooting seemed ridiculous, as everyone was hitting them. Boston never got set in an offense, almost every trip the 2nd guy to touch the ball shot. Rondo had 24 shots against me while Garnett had 7. UGH.

There are some things fixed, but it seems like more is broke than before.

I played same game and I didn't see this, neither team could make any three pointers and, Boston did run offense plays but not all crazy. I like that the cpu stopped shooting those crazy 3pt fade aways and also the big men like sheed and Kg werent looking iverson and chris paul out there.

The right guys are shooting, and I'm seeing solid, reasonable shooting %'s, but the CPU is playing like it is hopped up on crank.

The tempo of the game was perfect before, but now it feels kind of helter skelter.


I actually feel like the game is now a little too easy for the user post patch, offensively.

This is the problem that I have with people who cry and holler for patches.

There were a handful of problems that needed to be addressed but many of the "problems" could have been remedied by simply getting better at the game, understanding DNA tendencies, %'s and how the game works, adjusting a slider or two, or playing at a lower difficulty.

But no, people want to holler about how hard, scripted and "unfair" the default higher difficulties are, they dont like that the AI is adapting, and want to have an easy out spoon fed to them.

Not sure if the initial DNA update has contributed to this or not, but it is a big difference as far as pace of the game, and difficulty
