To be honest, I'm not even sure. I'll have to double check that next time I play (which, given the amount of time I've been spending on NBA Live 10, should mean around late December )

Yeah, I don't like to bash developers who work hard on these games but this is just plain sloppy. That would NEVER happen in real life. Even a casual football fan could tell you that.

Re: Preliminary details

Hopefully by the time the patch is out the game will have dropped in price (not sure if it's usually closer to Xmas or not). If not, I'll pick it up used. Either way, I'll be waiting to see some impressions on the actual "final" product, which is available only 2-3 months or so after the BETA version hit shelves back in August.

To an extent, so was I. Especially the stuff that was ruined with the first patch. But, what more could really be addressed in a TU? I guess the blocking "fix" in the last update is as good as we're gonna get. And I guess the horrible superhuman branching animations, and tackle-breaks are unfixable. Stats are a big issue, too. The pursuit angles and flats are better now, after patch #1. So, anymore work on those are just icing on the cake. The QB pass stuff matters little to the overall gameplay, and not as bad as some say.
Plus, I think we all see how "fixes" work in this engine, anyway. More time-shifting, player warping, speed lag, and ill-logic. No thanks.
Finally, I'll just go ahead with my 'chise this weekend. By the time I get to the regular season, the 2nd patch 'll probaly be out. Whaaaatever.

They didn't announce any other major fixes because the patch still isn't final. They don't want to announce something and then later on find out they can't get it in or something like that.
