The issues are coming, as they do every year, but in this year in particular, 2K has done a terrible job in selling this product.
I think this is premature, I'm sure they are gonna start promoting this week or next...really what kind of promotion do they need to do with us diehards? We're still gonna do our due dilligence to figure it out ourselves. It's the new clients to 2k like I was last year (live forever) that they want to bring in and I'm sure Kobe already has commercials set up along the season.

I do see what people are saying about the alleys but the ai isn't exploiting it. I can do them at a pretty good rate (just hope it's because of difficulty level). I've never really had a grasp on isomotion so that hadn't changed (though I wish they could implement something like live has). But what's there is very solid for a bare-bones demo. Can't wait for oct. 6

Game feels solid. The smaller players are good for this game. The controls feel tighter, and a bit more intuitive. The movement is a little jerky still. I like the defense assist, and players constantly moving. I like the Turbo meter. It adds more strategy. In short, it feels like a polished version of 2K9, and that is all.
And that makes it a purchase, for me, easily. No comparison, still. Hopefully, the cameras are good. Let's roll!

Well, after probably 10 years I'm finally going to defect I think. The game is robotic and nothing really feels satisfying. It may just be a bad demo, but that's the fault of 2k.

Actually, the crazy thing is if they hadn't released the demo so late I would have never given Live that second chance, so if my experience is any indication they may have just screwed themselves.
