Yes he does set up at the 3 pt line. Much to my chagrin while I was playing as the Lakers.

Yes they usually are watered down. 2k9 demo lacked playcalling as well.

For those complainig about alley-oops I have seen 2 by the cpu in my 7 games(one to kobe and one to gasol). They both looked legitimate and believable. I've never been a fan of the alley oop mechanic though. I think earlier 2k's had it right where a oop occurred automatically based on timing and spacing when you passed it.

You absolutely can NOT abuse Isomotion this year, it's great.

I was just hitting Kobe with some random moves with VC, in 2k9 something eventually would have worked and I'd be on my way to the basket, but he was able to cut off every move and then eventually forced a TO after about 5-6 moves.

It's amazing how much they've toned down the sliding.

Fatal,

Someone posted an article here regarding an in depth look at 2k10 development. I wish I could give you the link. It's some where in the nba 2k forum. In the article they talk to one of the developers who mentions that he was looking at re-examining the whole dribble mechanic system for future titles. Your wish may not be far off.

A lot of people seem to be disappointed with 2k's lack of progress in dribbling control. The dribbling just feels very unresponsive and 2k hasn't really done much to innovate in that area in the last few years. Considering it's a weak point, it seems they should've added a lot to the dribbling by now.
