I'm a cleveland lover, and a boston *****.. i match them up most of the time because of the rivalry, and it sucks to know that they're the two teams affected by the headband issue.

One more question and i don't expect this to be answered quickly or before the game comes out coz i can wait to see it for myself.. BUT how does animation intro works if you put kobe (without sasha), garnett, lebron, wade, carter, duncan all on the same team? Will all of their animated intro go into effect while the camera focuses on each player simultaneously? LOL. i can imagine wade, carter, duncan in line to hang by the ring.

Pared I know u said not to reask questions but mine is way back in the thread and it might have been lost in the shuffle. It's the only question I have: can you and a friend play vs. The CPU in season or association games over the Internet. Sorry to ask twice, but like I said this with this thread being this big some things might get lost. I promise I won't ask again. Thanks for answering so many question

Ah thanks Pared for answering my qs, that sux that the CPU doesn't do that, i thought it added more authenticity when the CPU did that cause in a real NBA game the players want to conserve their energy and set up a play while walking up with the ball...

Maybe the CPU will start walking when you lower the game speed or sumthing.

Some thoughts on the defensive rotations:

There are times when players come over to help out and don't stand in the correct spots in a help scenario. It's fundamentally incorrect in some instances. When you get the game, you'll see what I mean.

Also, the help D tends to leave guys open on the perimeter a LOT. It's nice, but sometimes the help D isn't needed. This was something I felt Live did last year and I'm hoping they cleaned up.

Overall, I would say Live's help defense routines from last year were a bit better, but they also forced the shooter into a lot of bad shots against their will. I guess you guys have to pick your poison.

I think they may have changed it as a way to avoid the CPU from not being to run plays in time. They get to half court faster, they can set up faster. At least, that's the logic I would think they used.

I'm sure it aided in helping the players get to their spots to run a play.

Another thing on plays:

They break way too often. For seemingly no reason similar to last year. The only upside is the players don't stop moving this year. They keep trying to get open and create an opportunity to score.

Regarding My Player Mode : Can you adjust the season length ? Or sim games ?

If not there´s no way for me to get any sort of career established with an 82 game season.

Assuming you play 5 min quarters : Once you are a starter it will be like 15 minutes a game (brutto time propably 20 with breaks and everything) . If you play 4 games a day on average (aka 1 hour 20 minutes) on average, you´ll need about 20 days for a season.
And playing that amount of time is optimistic for me, especially when splitting time with Franchise Mode...

And now figure in wanting a realistic feel and play 10-12 min quarters you can double that number.

The NBA just is not cut out for a real my player experience in comparison to f.e. the NFL with a 16 game schedule.
