Personally I liked the Demo but the more I played the more I started to see issues. But as Da Czar stated it was an early build which calmed me down quite a bit.
I didnt know that, cool

I think your taking it the wrong way personally.....

We could be crying out to the developers to look into it more because it's been a problem not just in the DEMO but even in previous builds that weren't a DEMO including Live 09.

I think most of us realize it's a demo

Having said that i'll stop posting because i see some guys are really taking this way too personel and it feels like we can't really point out flaws in the DEMO just the good things or else people will start to get upset.

If i discouraged or upset anyone with my concerns regarding the AI/CPU logic I apologize but trust me I'm a die hard NBA Live fan and I think the game can be great but it won't reach that level based on the AI logic not just from this demo but from preivious versions all being taken into coinsideration when i express my concerns.

Enjoy the game (Demo) fellas!

Aye, we need blocking fouls. Not necessarily on the physical play. But if on ball physical play forces the offensive player out of bounds. Used to be in ps1 versions of bball games. We def need it now.

This is still taking some time to adjust for me. You need to be pretty realistic with your passing angles or you're going to get a lot of passes stolen and rightfully so. I'm so used to 2K and only looking to see if a guy is open, not A) if I'm at a correct passing angle B) if there are any defenders in the passing lane who may steal the ball. I have to do all three in Live now, which is cool because it takes a tick longer to read but with freestyle passing you can still get the ball there in time.

Are nit-picky comments getting you down?

Had enough of playing the demo generated from earlier in the development cycle?

Is your enthusiasm waning for Live 10?

Well, I have just the thing to rejuvenate your spirits...

Yeah that was a good vid. Something I noticed about every video thats been posted when it comes to gameplay including the demo is their all playoff games. I'm wondering what a regular season game experience is gonna be like atmosphere wise, including teams that are during poorly in the season. Will be pretty interesting to see. I remember in the demo last year they game you the ability to back and play a couple of regular season games with the DNA for that game between La and the celtics. Only one option this year though.

Re: NBA Live 10 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (360)

The only way I can play any b-ball game is with Player Lock. So, with Player Lock broken, my first comments were a bit skewed. After playing the demo more this weekend, and giving better effort controlling all 5 players, the demo is a bit better than I thought. Not much, but I can see what EA is trying to do, and there are some good improvements.
The control has always been a bit more intuitive, and there seems to be a lot more animations. But, as others have already commented, it's a bit awkward forcing a player into the lane, and suddenly losing the ball. But, it will discourage cheese, and that's a veeery good thing!
Still not overjoyed about the bright graphics, but, it seems that defense will finally play a big part in the game, so that's good.
At this point, I'm on the fence. Because, I like how EA's sliders and options are in Madden this year. I can see and feel the difference right away. I like the player models. The animations aren't as fluid as I would like (Madden's big problem also), though, so.....we'll see.

The player models, controls, options, and sliders could = a buy, though. Depends on how it feels, most importantly. I need Player Lock to truly make an opinion.
