Yes, I realize throwbacks are in the game already. They were produced and worked on at the same time of these uniforms, or were just pulled from years and years of saved bitmaps on EA's servers. That's why the uniforms should be free and on the disc. EA realizes they should have been on the disc and to make more $ off of a product (before a patch fixing game-killing issues is released or even worked on mind you) they added some filters and Madden Moments to make it seem like we are getting a deal. Being able to create scenarios should be in the game anyway too, but it was just another feature EA decided to remove so they could add it later as a new feature, Madden Moments.

2) I won't buy it. My suggestion is no one else buys it either so we don't get charged for things that have been in the game and in other games forever, for free. Remember when they wanted to charge for throwbacks a few years ago and people laughed at them and they had to release it for free.... ?

In regards to the bolded part....there is a patch thats being worked on right now, and its the 2nd patch. The first patch will be released shortly, most likely next week. So, this idea that they are doing this instead of working on a patch or releasing a patch is incorrect.

As far as #2, your suggestion has been recognized, but sorry to inform you that I'm buying. I have no problem paying for DLC like this. If I didn't feel it was worth it, then I wouldn't buy it.

I understand you wanting people to feel as you do and not buy the DLC and complain so that hopefully it either comes down in price or is free, but thats most likely not going to happen. People want it and they want to buy and are going to buy it. Why can't you accept and respect that decision by others and stop trying to persuade them to feel as you do?

Different strokes for different folks.

Unless you have documented first hand knowledge of how/when these uniforms were created by the EA artist - please stop making broad stroke statements like this. I promise you - your knowledge of how this stuff works is FAR less than you think it is. Without PROOF - we have NO idea how much effort, time and resources went into making this DLC. You can argue it aint worth $7 - heck I might even agree there....but STOP saying things like this unless you can back it up.

But to each his own.
I don't play baseball games, so I've never seen it. But if I had, I wouldn't consider it pointless and gimmicky. Old school is where it's at for me, so I would have liked it better than the present-day presentation.

I don't agree. They would only need to do this if they chose to include real names and likenesses. The reality is, all they needed to do was to provide generic players like they used to for the historic teams that we could edit into reality, or easier yet, just allow us to use the in game editor to edit the current teams and players into historic teams. That's it. No licensing required.

I was responding to the request for historic rosters - NOT generic rosters:

Yeah, I found it strange as well. Why do throwback like that and then no provide the real rosters? Seems weird.

Yes, but there is a way to have historic rosters in the game...which is what many want to see. Don't get mad...I was just trying to bring light to the situation. Too many people think that licensing is the only way to get historic rosters in...it's not. There is a much more simple path. That's all...
