This is the most ridiculous post in here, at least lately. First of all, why would getting Live or FIFA have any influence on getting NHL? They're not the same sport Secondly, FIFA is said to have the same sort of improvements as NHL this year, mainly tweaking the gameplay and a few much needed gameplay enhancements i.e. pinning. Thirdly, Live has had nowhere to go but up so comparing the level of improvement between NHL and Live doesn't apply because they are at much different stages in their cycles.

At least say something like "get NHL 2K10. The presentation is so sick!". Lol.

Just ignore him. I mean, only an idiot would take a post like that seriously.

Anyways, it's less than a week away from release and I'm still playing the demo on a daily basis. In fact I'm playing it more than any other game I have, so I have to give a lot of credit to EA. The demo has more replayablity than most full games, sadly enough.

The only thing that needs fixing is the computer offense in my zone. The way they can make tic tac toe passes seems even worse than last year. The frustrating thing is not only their pass speed and accuracy, but they can successfully pass through defenders with ease. Trying to poke check them when they have possession in the offensive zone is also practically useless. I can count on one hand how many times I've successfully poke checked the computer when they're dipsy doodling around in the offensive zone. The computer has this magnetic ability to protect the puck without using the protect puck feature or the skill stick, it's mind boggling and impossible to defend against. You pretty much have to just let them cycle around and get some point shots off to have any chance at getting the puck back.

This could all be fixable with sliders, and even if it isn't it's far from a dealbreaker since I primarily play online, but I do enjoy the offline game modes as well so hopefully the dominant offensive cycling game of the computer can be toned down a bit. I wouldn't mind as much but whenever I try to make those risky passes that they routinely make they get deflected or intercepted.

Anyways, that's really the only concern I have about the game and it's fairly minor, so kudos to EA.

I don't either but I've seen enough of these types of complaints the last year or so that I just let em go at this point and chalk it up to user error, because when you debate it, the comeback logic conspiracy theorists come out in droves.

I played the demo quite a bit last night and I'm really fiending for MORE!!!

They really did the board play right and it just adds so much to the game...

This will be my first time in gaming history I head up to my local gamestop at midnight to pick it up - assuming when I call them today they are doing a midnight release next week. I'm also going to take off next Tuesday to play it all day long.

I'm still deciding on midnight release. I have to get up at 6am, so it's really pushing it, not to mention if I do get it, I'll want to stay up even later to play it. I can't take Tuesday off, but I am taking Wednesday, so that will have to do...
