I just reported in the forums last week at this time, that a caption that appeared in our business section had a picture of Game stop employee playing Beatles Rock Band. The caption said they hoped this game would help pick up the video gaming industry that is also struggling in this economy.

Even though Madden 10 is much better than 09, it's lagging behind last years sales. Sure, Modern Warfare might be the exception rather than the norm this year.

I totally disagree !! with your estimate about online players and believe me !! it's the cheeez that going on online that keeps people away, not the game itself !!

EA seems to be doing a better job at toning down the cheez that goes on online every year

Personally, I would not even touch this game if I could not play against a human opponent...offline or online

Even though the patches will help this game and make it an even better game...I have had more fun with Madden 10 than any other Madden from the past and I have been playing since the the 1st ever Madden was released 20 years ago

Whoop....really sorry about that. Time has really flown by. Sales were stronger for video games, I just can't believe it has been 5 months since. Thank you for your correction on that. Hopefully it isn't always about the sales and that the games that are out are doing their job to keep people entertained and allow that to save some money during the recession.

i appreciate the update & info but this just reminds me why i HAVE NOT bought madden until this year & end up trading it in in October when i do cop it.

Not to bash the game or anything but i always have this built up anticipation for it because i love football and EA has the only football game on the market thats playable & i expect so much.

then i buy it upon release & instantly realize that they have not fixed everything out of the box... THEEEENNNN i have to wait about a month or 2 for the game to be where it should have been when it was released & by this time NBA2k has been released and since i never got a chance to dive into Madden because of things that should not have to be patched, i get consumed by my current hoops game (NBA2K)

WE NEVER GET A FULL YEAR OF A FINISHED PRODUCT.
