Something you should think about everytime you spend money. I'm 26 with no kids and could easily buy this and forget about it tomorrow.
Sure, I can think about that...It is bound to happen some time, it is happening to everyone in every industry. But that is why I prepare for such a situation. I save money, and keep money in the bank so that during my search for another job, I will be able to support my family. And guess what? If it gets to the point that I can no longer afford to have my PS3 or Wii or anything other than that around because we need food, then those things will be the first to get sold. The luxuries that I enjoy now like going out to lunch/dinner occasionally will also come to an end. I won't have to worry about things like DLC, because I won't have video games to play.

Through your logic on this, I should not buy anything that may be considered "optional" things in life because I might get laid off tomorrow, and that is asinine.

There was no afl field anything or patches or anything like that so please stop fabricating up bullsh**.

what are you talking about, go back into the game, they have 1960 throwbacks. they have the esact uniform, helmet and all that the titans are wearing this year, who cares if theres no afl patch.

Fabricating BS? You act like I called one your kids a name or something. This is the **** I'm talking about. I will admit I'm wrong. I heard wrong. Fabricating. Yeahh..... I was sitting by my computer for days just thinking of that one. Someone said that they had all the throwbacks and they put the symbols on the field. I'm sorry I heard wrong. I bought 2k. Didn't like the game play but liked a lot of the little things. This same debate went on three years ago with the other horrible next gen Madden game( I think it was 07). They were considering charging us for regular throwbacks back then but I guess they realized the game sucked so bad that no one would buy them and let us download them for free. Funny thing is I downlaoded them. Never to play that horrible game again. Oh . How times have changed.

Business is business. But having a happy consumer is a big part of business. IT is like the devs catch feelings anytime we point out clear faults and ask some serious questions. I thought that changed with Ian. Now he is gone. If they would have more communication especially right now when people have been waiting on news of a patch it would help how they are perceived.
Yeah, you see, I don't care if some of these people are stupid enough to waste their money on things that should have been. I don't care if it's down to their last 7 dollars to feed their family. They are the ones dumb enough to buy this. They will feel great about it too. All day. Maybe all year. But, in the end, one day, they will soon reflect on how stupid they were on buying into this hype while the guys at EA are just looking at their online bank account watching the funds grow from knuckleheads buying into capitalism.

It's kind of like how once my daddy used to tell me, "Son, one day, you're going to grow up and understand that buying material things right now will make you happy, but when you get older, you'll realize how foolish you were and how you could have just saved your money for better things instead." He was right. This stupid AFL jersey crap for 7 bucks? People must have forgotten that we are in recession. 7 bucks could get you some good gas. 7 bucks actually buys a lot of grocery. 7 bucks could feed a small family in somalia.

7 bucks buys you a computer generated jersey to play in your game that does not make the gameplay better. 7 bucks.

Im sorry I missed the oilers but i don't recall their 60's throwbacks being in the game, I know for a fact the broncos werent, pretty positive the texans werent in and Im pretty sure they didnt have the blue helmet oilers uni in, also not so sure about the raiders either.

But you're more than welcome to post a video proving me wrong.

Yet, here you are spending your money on material things, like video games....in a recession.

I really don't know how to take this. You agree with everything I said about saving money and how every dollar counts and then at the end you call my way of thinking assine. Dude.. If you got kids and you are not living comfortable and money saved up your damn right I wouldn't be buying optional things. The whole reason I responded to you in the first place is because you are acting like it is only $7. What if for the past twenty years you were spending that 7$ for your AFL unis. That would add up then wouldn't it? Then maybe you would ask yourself why do I always have to pay for these. Too bad EA is smart and will switcth it up to something else next year.
