NHL 2K10 Q&A: Part Two

The Operation Sports community recently had a chance to ask Ben Bishop, Producer at Visual Concepts, some questions about NHL 2K10. This is part two of two.
Quote:
"OS: Has checking been toned down in its frequency and effect?

Ben Bishop: "Checking has been toned down by default. Not only that, but there are new sliders for checking effectiveness now, which change depending on difficulty, and if you really want to make checks extremely hard or easy, you can use custom sliders to do so."

Platform: PS2 / PS3 / Wii / Xbox 360

Nice read. Looking forward to franchise improvements for 2k11. I understand you can't do everything you want in one cycle, and since it looks like they have improved the game in so many other areas, they get a pass from me on that. They made major upgrades in presentation and for that I'm very happy.

nice article. I'm a little bit more free now that I read part two of the interview. I will try to go to New York City to play the demo of this. I live 45 mins from there.

I'm all about franchise in all my sports games, I'm a bit disappointed that not much has changed, like last year you played the same schedule every year, is this at least changed?

Schedules have been randomized according to Bish. Not sure if I read it here in the previous Q&A or over at 2K Hockey.
