I think im going to have to take Lives animations for what theyre worth.....im just not a fan I guess...some of them just not look smooth to me at all...

other then that, I love the atmosphere in the building....probably the best ive seen in a game....and that sequence w\ Bargani grabbing his eye is just awesome...

If you a true nba live fan you will see where its coming from.. I kinda see live 10 like nba live 05 in a way but a million times better. Its fluid and not over animated or overdone. This is they year!!!

Lol 24th that's exactly how my cousin feels. He for some reason just doesn't like the way live animates and I dont know why either.

Maybe its just the speed of the game everything is so fast, where as in 2K things are more deliberate. You get to see more of the intricacies in the players movements then you can in Live.

And that's one of the reasons why I dislike the way 2K animates because though it does look nicer sometimes it gets in the way.

Like if I'm going for a layup the animation is nice as hell, but its annoying when that beauty is spoiled by Dwight throwing my ish out the gym.

At that point I'm like damn why didn't he just get the shot up quicker.

Hopefully this isn't considered a 2K vs Live post lol.

Nice

The bold part is why I pre-ordered it. We all know basketball games get boring and repetitive fast because theres not enough variety to keep us coming back. We exhaust all the moves, all the commentary, all the gimmicks and cheese moves and every game becomes the SAME in presentation and gameplay.

But with Live 10 it seems like we will never have one game that will look the same and we have NEVER had that in an NBA game.

There's no real choice from what I've seen so far. And I'm happy it's almost here.

One of the reasons I tried breaking my blu-ray disc in half. The canned animations where the guy takes 5 years to put up a lay up 1 foot from the hoop.

Re: NBA Live 10 Blog: Shooting the Rock

yeah, I hear you...to me, some of the animations just dont look natural...kind of jerky to me...Everyones view on it is different I guess. Me, I prefer something that looks and has the smoothness of a true to life basketball move....and some of the motions dont reflect that to me...

I want to be able to say "Man, that totally looks like something that D Wade would do...." when im playing w\ D Wade. He may be quicker, better handles, maybe even shoot like D Wade....but I want to see him finish at the basket\ make moves different from everyone else... that makes a big difference to me...

You should view the history of nba live and that will give you a rundown on nba live 10...From everything ive seen nba live looks amazeing and even in vids it looks like a fresh nba live thats never been seen before. The idea of this year was to bring it back to the way it use to be and that has been done.
