Nice! I enjoyed that video much more than some of the others I've seen. The freestyle passing could be incredible, and the temporary player lock is something I've been wanting in Live for a long time. Damn demo cannot get here soon enough.

Re: New NBA LIVE 10 Blog Post: Passing Controls

What if I do the thing where you hold the trigger and the button of the player, run off a screen or something but I see that he's not in good position to receive a pass? How do I switch back to the ballhandler without giving the ball to the player I'm controlling first?

BTW, everybody should kinda calm down about the net swishes... lol, it wasn't perfect. Nets don't turn upside down on a perfect swish. I still prefer 2K9's.

I wont even lie, Mike sounded like he was either home from a late night work day, or not up very long, and recorded that from his living room, and it was one of the best blogs I've seen.

That's how you do a tutorial, explained by the developer. He even put up the disclaimer so people would actually

Focus on the passing! I cant wait to get in some

Practice

MOVING ON.

Mike and co. I love it, nice work on clearing one of my finals fears for this game. I don't want to jump the gun but it seems we're gonna have the whole packaged delivered.

Re: New NBA LIVE 10 Blog Post: Passing Controls

Definatley a BIG improvement (I applause)

Still wondering if the coaches ever sit down??? Every single video I've seen on Live 10 the coaches are pacing the sidelines...?? Do they sit down? Plz answer (not a deal breaker if they dont, Im just into small details like this)

Still dont think that looks like Rose....(Hey Im from the Chi-town, gotta represent Rose rite )

I did like the movements and it does look a lot more fluid than any Live we've seen.

Cant wait for the 5 min gameplay vid so I can get a better feel for the game till i get my hands on the demo.

The animations are so smooth and realistic! I love the animation sequence towards the end of the video where Paul made a few dribbles to get separation then took the fade. I'm interested to see what 2K has to offer this year, but so far I'm really impressed with the strides EA is making with their Live franchise.
