Flip dumps -- Hold RB down for less time and you'll get less on the dump in. I'm looking at tuning this so that it goes over the boards less often when it is fully charged up.

I actually was reffering to rebounds in front of the net as opposed to one timers. Does that make more sense? I often whiff when trying to bang rebounds home unless they bounce right on my stick which is rare.

As for flip dumps, like I said even when I hold RB down for a long time I don't always get that super far flip dump, so I was curious if you knew exactly what I might have been doing to achieve it so I could find a way to avoid doing that in the future. Though it is promising that you might reconsider the length of the flip dump. The height is good though. The important thing is being able to dump it so that the defenseman can't easily pick up the puck and pass it off when it hits the ice.

The A.I. passing is as brutal as every other year, the tape to tape passing is too much. The puck never sits out on the ice, its always on someone's stick - almost magnetic. I thought there was supposed to be improved puck physics?

Press the right stick in the direction you want to send the puck right as the puck is about to drop. Timing is pretty crucial this year.

Timing is everything. Once you know the timing you should be able to win at least half against the computer. I'm actually having an easier time winning draws this year than in 09 for whatever reason.

Anyways, you want to pull back on the right stick exactly as the puck hits the ice. A lot of people will try to anticipate when the refs arm moves and will do it too early - be patient. Once you see his arm move wait until he brings his arm down to drop the puck. Mess around with it some and you'll get the hang of it.

I've notice that its actually different at times, sometimes I'll win draws right as the ref is dropping his arm, other times I'll win draws right as the puck hits the ice. Its almost a guessing game in itself and some element of chance.

Anyone who is looking at buying should read this article IN FULL

Remember, the demo doesn't have the "keep even" logic built in.
