Yep, it's the main selling point of 2K10 for me right now actually. Nothing else has really grabbed me, but it sounds like they put a lot of thought into the mode... having the D-League and Summer League really makes a difference in the authenticity level. I'm happy an NBA game finally did this... hopefully it's well-done on the first attempt (few things are, but I have my fingers crossed because I'm very interested in this).

EDIT: Also, if I can't create my player with customizable dance moves on the bench, I'm not buying this game.

Stern probably has this line saying: "No, I don't think you're going to help the NBA sell more merchandises in China. See you on the D-League!".

I'm really pumped up for the game. My Player may take over the way sports games are played on video games. If the online issues are taken care of this may go down as the best sports game feature in history. Not saying the reinvinted the wheel or anything. But, it sound like it's gonna be the real deal.

Would be great if they do keep D-League stats and this happens.

My player mode sounds great!!!! And the addition of the d-league, summer league, 10 day contracts, and drills should bring some realism to the players experience. It's seems like 2k10 is taking to another level this year. And this mode should help more players play the game like it was intended to be played. I can't wait.

The next step for sports gaming IMO.

Online franchises. (What Madden 10 has tried)

and something like this. Like a MMO sports game, I hope more games try this. Playing a baseball or football version of this would be sick as well.

Hope they get this right the first time through.

I'm so glad you can actually see your player get drafted by Stern! (Hope they did this for association too)

Now they should bring the mode back next year with the possibility to handle the press, make interviews or call a press conference when there is a big event on your career, add rivalries with other players playing at your position.

Also, I know they wanted us to control our NBA career but it would be more realistic if NBA teams can trade you anytime they want.

Got damn this mode sounds so sick. I've been waiting for something like this (especially the way they did it) for a loooong time. Between this 2k, Live, and League Pass I've got a lot of $$$ flowing towards the NBA product.
