This has nothing to do with catch-up logic, the CPU can out-turn you anytime. It is still noticeable in the 10 demo, but not as bad as 09.

You can see it every time the play switches direction. I'll post video proof from 09 so maybe you'll stop arguing with me (I doubt it)

Are you frigging kidding me?

I was LAMBASTED for bashing 09 and saying how I expect 10 to be glitchy, like NHL games usually are (09 was by far the worst in terms of glitches, though). Now, 24 hours after the demo is released, they're starting to surface, the potential game ruiners.

There's no way I'm buying NHL 10 on release day, not with this kind of garbage. If they are patched, and the game is cleaned up big time of glitches, I'll buy it. Other than that, I'm passing this year. I'm not buying the game, and letting it sit for 5 months until stuff is patched like I had to do with 09, and even still there are at least 3 glitch goals that work 100% of the time.

Especially with games like Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 2 coming out soon, and Madden being pretty good. The NHL team needs to step up their game, big time. I like the feel of the demo, and for the first time the CPU actually plays an interesting, somewhat creative style, with toe drags and dekes and stuff, instead of the boring old mundane "skate to the corner, spin around, one time it out front" style they used to play despite the tools for creativity being there. But this crap ruins online, and the only people who don't have a problem with it are the ones who utilize the cheese, and ruin online for the rest of us.

I think the game can be great if the glitches are removed, but if not, it's really a one step forwards two steps backwards kind of situation. Reasons like this are why MLB The Show reigns supreme over NHL, you just don't see that kind of stuff in The Show.

There's another video too, I don't feel like going back to it though, and the wraparound glitch is still very much there, the guy did it 3 out of 3 times, and he says the goalline wrister is still there, too.

Yet its one of the arguements brought up anytime people claim "catch up logic" I don't need video proof, I've had enough come back from behind 3rd period wins and enough multi goal leads that I've hung on to win in 09 to know its not there. The AI is effecient with quick stops and turns but again the AI doesn't rely on an xbox controler like a human does.

Where's the barf smiley? It's been documented by many, MANY individuals on this forum that when the CPU flips the switch and goes into its infamous and annoying pressure attack, CPU players are much quicker, turn faster (as in zero momentum), and pass the puck with a degree of speed and accuracy that isn't anywhere near possible for user players. You can continue insisting there's no catchup logic or whatever, but you can't defend what the rest of us can see with our own eyes, sorry.

Is anyone else feeling some lag and framerate issues? Hoepfully only the demo. I think they should have added another game, or added more customization for your BAP, I mean this is 730 MB, c'mon! Most demos are 1 GB!

Now I'm befuddled. First you say there's no CPU advantage with turning, and then you say the CPU has an advantage because it doesn't have to rely on controller movement. In other words and bottomline, CPU players do in fact turn faster.

Eh like I've said before baa, somethings I agree with you on, somethings I don't. I don't see it myself is all I'm saying.
