Re: Combine trailer is up

That's fine. I thought the Live videos looked great with a few exceptions.. to each his own. I just gotta get my hands on the games before I make any conclusions, unlike some people who write off Live automatically without even playing it. Both games look nice this year...

Anyway, not another vs. thread, so I'll shut up now. Not like this video even had any new information in it anyway... I'll wait until we see the real game or at least get something other than a developer-made trailer to compare the two. Playing the combine next week will probably do a lot to set my mind at ease about the controls, but right now it's looking like another glossy beautiful coat of paint by 2K.
I believe that all sports games are built on animations, when devs bring up physics its more like saying weight, height, gravity, ect triggers what animation happends, feel me. I cant tell much as far as physics go from any vid released from either game, but I dont think its something that is very hard to do, especially if that is the 2nd most criticized thing about 2k last year. Physics arent good in Live either, the basic movements are part of the physics, just cause they plant their feet does not mean they have physics, especially with how nothing looke human like. I gotta stop now though, agree to disagree, I dont want to get banned for constructive criticism.

Well 2k has always animated well. The problem was that the animations became repetitive and provided less control for the users. Live on the other hand may not animate as smoothly, but I'm pretty sure it could if you actually attempted to play realistically.

There is no way you could perform a cone drill like that in 2k9..no way. I know you have to play it 1st but the second 2k shows some videos that indicate they may have changed things for the better people say they don't believe them and they will need to play it 1st. If that will be your stance everytime they post vids, why should they even bother? You will not be able to play till October 6th.

I mean you know disrespect Stumble..

Re: Combine trailer is up

Nice. I still love how layups and dunks appeared to be with the strong/dominant hand. Pet peeve with 2k for years has been all the left or weak handed finishes.

Nice little feature. I hope I have some dough for this and the time to play it.

Nothing in those Live vids moved realistic, not 1 thing, and if you did see something point it out to me cause I dont like to be wrong, lol. I love the in place dribbles in Live however, that looks great and 2k needs something like that insted of pressing a button and it being automatic, but other than that as far as movement Live aint on the level of 2k6 to me, sorry if im sounding to critical, but im just keeping it real.
Go back and play 2k6. If you think the movement is better in that game than in Live 10, you, in my mind, will be thought of as an absolute clown.
