In an unrelated note, this trailer was recently posted on Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/5328017/nhl-2k10-p...on-goal-action) and around 65% of the comments on the video were negative.

I don't want to play Debbie Downer here but I think the people who 2K are trying to impress with this trailer are laughing right back in its face. Thanks, Marketing! Hope the gameplay footage we see can bring some more positive stuff here and around the net.

I just can't stand that people actually want 2K to "give up" now that EA's regained control of the hockey market, just pitiful. Do people really want another Madden, NCAA Football, MLB 2K or March Madness?

People always do this on other sites. If they showed an NBA 2k10 basketball video you'd see 65% of people saying EA should give in. People don't realize that competition is important when making video games. They only see the dominant game and feel that game should take over. They also always talk about how they could do something better than the developers when they know nothing about game design. People are morons. Most of them have already decided what game they are going to buy anyway without knowing much about the game.

But they never gave in and I believe NBA LIVE has caught up as I actually preffered Live 09 last year and 10 looks amazing .
This is why NHL 2k should never just give up look what 1 year off did to NHL series

I'm saying you're as critical and harsh as I am about these games, and just like me you take great pleasure in pointing out what's wrong at every opportunity. Which is fine by me. As long as people aren't calling others fools for liking a particular game, I see no harm in any of it.
