NBA Live 10 Trailer (Gametrailers)

For a trailer, it was pretty sloppy IMO. Varejao looked all sorts of awful. And VC didn't exactly look like himself either. Then you had the random attempt to take a charge by Dwight on LeBron, and then immediately Dwight jumps for a block attempt in what had to be a very ugly (nonexistant) transition between animations.

That's my point. The animations and "look" of the game don't seem right to me, which, as you've indicated as well, can kill the experience. 2K9 has it's share of problems but still had a more authentic feel to it IMO. I don't dislike Live09, I thought it was a step in the right direction as I'm sure this year will take another step, but unless they can make the game look more authentic, i.e. fluid animations, better player models etc, then it won't feel like a sim to me.

I believe, like many others here, that the Live series has a lot of potential, that's why I'm a little disappointed that the smoothness of the animations and the graphics don't appear to be living up to what I and many others were expecting. Were we expecting too much? No, just fluid animations, ball physics and player models that could rival/beat 2K's. I just want a great basketball experience, regardless of who makes the game.

I have nothing against EA, I love that they're interacting with the community and value our feedback. This shows their heads are in the right place.

Maybe I'll be blown away when I actually get my hands on the game, that's what I'm hoping, I'm just going by first impressions here.

I never complained about the logos on the headbands or shoelaces, genius. Man, it's like I'm trying to communicate with a bunch of 5 year olds here. If you have trouble comprehending my posts then don't bother trying to reply to them. You've shown your lack of maturity on these boards many times by not accepting the opinions of others. Have I had a dig at anyone for having a different opinion to me? No, i haven't. I'm just giving my impressions, I you don't like my opinion, or if anyone else on these boards doesn't, well too bad. You make out people that share my views are whinging when you're whinging about us for not wetting our pants over the trailer.

probably discussed before, but someone commented on my youtube of it that Dwight doesnt have his armband on in the pregame and Lebron has the white home jersey on when he does the chalk toss, even though we are to assume that they are the away team in Orlando the entire video.

Not sure if it was possible in 09, but maybe we can choose which jersey we want to wear no matter if you're home or away in 10.
