Also this company is constantly in your ear saying "its in the game", and Madden is saying "everything you see on Sunday, you see in Madden 10" and its all bull****. They don't care about making the game better because people like you will buy it regardless, so thanks for adding to EA's bottom line and their ego.
Wait. Was this whole tirade in regards to a post about a post about a few warning beeps?

No kidding. I ran three straight deep passing plays. Ward and Holmes both needed to be subbed. Talk about an impact, I throw another pass to one of the subs; it deflects off his hands and into the waiting hands of a LB. I like that. Not that I threw an INT, of course, but that fatigue is real and I need to consider my plays more carefully due to it.

What is it about Madden that struggles to make REALISTIC player models?

I just replayed a game of ALL Pro 2K8 and also watch a recent video someone posted that he created a Nebraska team with and the first thing that came to my mind, especially after watching the video is how human and natural the player models look. They also look so lifelike when running moving, following a play by tracking with their head. Wrapping their arms around the ball carrier to engage in a tackle.

All these things make we wonder, what is it about Madden that fails to nail this important aspect. Are these player models cartoony on purpose for effect?...or is it something that they are limited by lack of technology? Or do you think EA feels their player models animate and look superior?

Curious on what you guys think....please, mature discussion on this only

Re: What is it about Madden that struggles to make REALISTIC player models?

u know... for years, madden seemed to be obsessed with this constipated, porcelin (sp) macho idea of a player model. They seemed to have improved that a lot this year. I saw Tony Romo on the sidelines with his helmet OFF (wow), warming up for a 4th quarter drill and it was a pretty good Romo. he was smiling lol

I am so in love with the 1 min demo on 360

It plays so much smoother and better the promo demo.

It even looks better with less jaggies on edges.

The speed is a tad faster from the gamestop demo which feels perfect

This is gaming folks

LMAO @ This. To be honest, that's why other gaming sites look down on OS, because of a post like this.

Ian's gonna need a retirement check after this. Wow. Btw, Madden 10 is great, even on a SLOW gameplay setting.
