Love the demo, the final build will be even better.

Does anyone remember the pass rush video Ian made after working out the weapon curves? I though I read somewhere in this thread that those changes were not implemented into the demo build but they will be in the final build. Is this true?

I've only played the demo 2 times, but I like what I see from it. A huge plus for the slow down in gameplay. One of the things I noticed and have been waiting for on Madden for next gen is tighter controls. While not perfect, it is about time it feels like I'm not playing Blitz when running.

I was very impressed with D line play. I actually can play as a DE or DT now and enjoy it. The moves with the Right stick actually work. The QB play is a lot more fun too. Pockets develop, no more running outside the pocket and throwing at full speed across the field while jumping, lobs are actually lobbed in.

One of the most impressive plays I saw was in my first game, first drive with the Cards. I was down at the 5 yard line and had single man coverage on Fitz. I chose a fade route and after my quick 2 step drop, I throw a lob up high to Fitz. The DB turned and tried to make a play on it but Fitz properly jumped and caught the ball at its highest point for the TD. About time Madden got this right!

It's not perfect, but I'm just happy it's a step in the right direction. Tighter controls, slower speed, better o/d line play, more realistic qb play, and tackling animations have improved enough to make this feel like a step forward.

10 games played so 40 mins game time, games are very polished. Small touches and refinements, better dline control (right stick spins and jukes for dline). Dbs jump routes (jam at line 2 secs). Weather affects, you can slip at any time, on any slight cutback. Wildcat: this is going to make madden very fun. I love the sub packages. Jones under snap was more explosive than Barber. Referees, crowd, in game action cams, injury decisions, snickers ads...all excellent. Gripes? Giants oline seems superior, more than I expected, and giants wrs seem fine, minus plaxico. Bradshaw can't take a hit. Cowboys? Romos accurate on bullet passes, his deep balls suck. Can't sack with Ware, spencer got a few for me. Roy williams snag some high hard ones in a crowd. Gameplay? Snugs formation still is golden. 3-4 pressure from last year still seem to work for me, (stack 3/4 scheme). Wr comeback routes still work too. Love madden. Love this demo. Wildcat! Wildcat!

Just noticed how great fatigue is as well. I usually never sub playes out but I found myself subbing willie parker out on the regular to keep him fresh. The one time I didnt he ended up getting injured.

If it were just about backyard football then I'd tell people to go join a league with their buddies if the game sucked, but its supposed to be a Sim of the NFL, and I seriously doubt anyone on this brainwashed site could join that league for a game. Also this company is constantly in your ear saying "its in the game", and Madden is saying "everything you see on Sunday, you see in Madden 10" and its all bull****. They don't care about making the game better because people like you will buy it regardless, so thanks for adding to EA's bottom line and their ego.

I think I will be sticking to Madden 08 PC version once again this year!

Madden 10 PS3 has improved but I just don't find it as playable as the PC version!

At least for me anyway Madden 08 PC is addicting and Madden 10 PS3 I was getting bored after a few games played.

I really wanted to love Madden 10 PS3 but its just not doing it for me.

O Well there always hope for Madden 11 lol

I will play the 5min demo some more and see if it grows on me but I doubt it.

Ian, I sure hope out of this massive thread you read this. I have seriously prayed for a game that "feels" like this since I was first introduced to NFL 2k5 back in the summer of 2004. This game defys all logic of "Arcade Next-Gen Madden". This is the first X360 football game that TRULY deserves its NFL Licence. It is SIM and it is FUN. You sir, and your team.. Donny, Phil, Anim8tor.. You guys did an incredible job. I cannot say enough about how excited I am to get my hands on the final version.

The menu screen SCREAMS no gimmicks. Have you ever fired up a game and knew it would be SICK just from the damn menu screen? Madden 10 does that

The cut-scenes are incredible. From the players to watch, to the time-out QB cut scenes - I was sitting there with my jaws dropped. It is incredible. The post play is just icing on the cake.. it is AWESOME! (Is there anyway to make the players to watch screen a little longer with good insight from the commentary in Madden 11? - I know you guys are redoing the commentary next year as well as locomotion, I am STOKED about that!)

The Gameplay is so much better than ANY of the Maddens i've played next gen. Though I am a huge critic of the generic run styles that plague Madden, the game feels so real and fine tuned its incredibly easy to bypass this issue all together. Seriously, it feels like a REAL GAME.

The crowd OMG.... OMG.... OMG... *faints* - First football game im sure I can play w/o any commentary... I really cannot say enough about the crowd noise, you guys NAILED IT.
