YES!!!!

At this point, all I can do is think about how this game is missing that extra emotion, and communication from the players. I really wish they talked in the huddle, like in 2k8. To hear the players fired up in the huddle would do soooo much for this game. But, considering this is Ian's first year as Lead Designer, all I can say is great job!

Is anyone planning on uploading the gamestop demo in a zipped file to fileshack or somewhere like that?

It's just that I am in Australia and for some reason they have not released the 360 demo for gold members here.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here

I posted this in it's own thread, but it seems like every post about Madden is getting locked and told to go to the impressions thread, even though this isn't an "impression," but whatever... so I'm pre-emptively reposting it here where it will undoubtedly be lost in the annals of a 150-page thread:

I just saw my first "Late Hit" penalty in a Madden game in, I don't know, it must be close to a decade? I remember the late hit from the old genesis days, being able to dive into a guy post play and by Madden '97, you'd get penalized for it (in Madden '96 it had a 1/5 chance of injuring the player... and was a good strategy ).

Unfortunately, the way that it came in for me was a little disapointing because it was either the most "ticky tack" late hit that's ever been called in the Super Bowl, or it was a real glitch. The scenario is this...

2nd and 12 on their own 5 yard line, the Cards do a pass to a mostly open Hightower in the flat, he scurries for about 6 yards but I manage to tackle him as he's sort of near out of bounds... he was not out of bounds although his foot was VERY close. The tackle looked 100% clean and the ref gave a 15-yard unnecessary roughness. Even if he WAS out of bounds it would have been a really ticky-tack penalty, but upon replay, he was totally in bounds with both feet, although one was *close.* If I had my cam I would have recorded it.

Anyway, I'm hoping this is a single, solitary glitch because that could be very annoying when you get called for late hits when you're actually tackling the guy in bounds or VERY CLOSE To the sideline/out of bounds.

Regardless, it's nice to see the return of the late hit penalty... an old favorite from the classic Madden days that has been gone for many years. Although, if this scenario is more common, then it may need some tweaking.

You should download the Cowboys / Giants demo, much better build @ the correct game speed

Re: Over The Shoulder Catches

This is starting to annoy me now. Had Fitzgerald on a post, safeties were in a two deep. They fanned out leaving the middle of the field open. I throw the ball to the open area, Larry turns his back and starts reaching in the air for an over the should catch. FOR NO REASON!!!!!!
