there was no other Madden demo in the ps3 store? Is this an xbox only thing?

It's in there. It just doesn't work very well in replay, but it's in there.

For some reason, EA decided to let the Xbox Silver users (don't pay anything) get the 1 minute demo a week before PS3 users (don't pay anything either) do.

In other words, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I played it through and thought the graphics were amazing...notches above last year! The kicking has been made more challenging (the right stick will change direction too.) Gameplay felt smooth but I need to learn how to do stuff that is essentially the same in Madden 09 and NCAA (eg. where do you audible from?) Still, in all, I was impressed and am looking forward to 8/14 with great anticipation. (I'll be there at Midnight with my new Eli Manning jersey...probably getting grief from the Redskin fans :-).

This game looks like Madden 09 but better. Except or the speed of the game, I think it's too slow. I love the man defense but I hate the bump and run. The passing is good and so is the pass block, but I hate the fact that the DE can't get through. It's a good game but not a great game. Oh they 're still treadmill running. Thats a no no!

I just beat the Steelers with a 47yd TD run by Beanie Wells on a draw play on 3rd and 9 with just over 30 secs to go. The play unfolded beautifully.
