Madden needs to implement defensive intelligence so that the Corners and Safeties know how to play certain routes while in certain coverages.

also address safety play because many times the safety is in no mans land on pass plays

This thread is huge to i'll just say my biggest concern. WTF is up with field goals? The demo is so short you can't really get that much of a feel for it, 3 plays and the quarters over, but my goodness i barely hit a 29 yarder and my friend missed a 43 yarder and it fell on the 10 yard line...i hope they patch this.

I am loving the running game. I broke off a 79yd td run with Willie Parker in my last game. The guys get skinny to get to thru the holes is a thing of beauty.

And man o' man, there is nothing better than throwing a perfectly timed and placed fade route to the back pylon in this game. Very well done.

Thankfully there is a game speed slider because the GS demo is so slow I can't really get into it. The players are stuck in quicksand.

EA, thank you for customization in this area because everyone has different preferences. Well done.

I love the game speed... really allows me to enjoy the play and see what's going on to make decisions... feels more like football and less like arcade.

Does anyone know what the controls are for this demo? I find that I'm jumping up in the air, can't user catch, etc. This is a little frustrating.
