If you are a madden ***** then no need to play it because you just want a new game and nothing can please you
I agree. It was amazing that I actually had time to find a receiver. You can definitely feel a difference when running with a back like Brandon Jacobs.

The animations are outstanding from breaking arm tackles to stumbling and regaining balance. Regardless of what people think of EA, these demos show a very strong product....

The Playstation Network updates later in the day so PS3 users need to have patience. I have no idea why this is but the PSN updates around 6 p.m. EST, I believe....

me being the Madden critic i am, i can honestly say the demo is pretty good, especially with it not being the final stage of development. i like the pro-tak touch, the momentum has been tweaked (still not perfect but much better it seems). i also saw alot of new tackle animations. i enjoyed it and will probably pre-order just to get the longer quarters to hold me off until the game release.

Sucks having to wait til the PSN store updates before the demo code is active. I've been trying my code all day in hopes that Sony did something "special" with the demo to let it activate without it having to be staged with the PSN store stuff. And due to the fact that the US PSN Store doesn't update til late in the day, sometimes even late at night, on Thursdays, the wait is, uhh, painful.
Plus I keep reading the posts here. I KNOW this game is gunna be HOT! I LOVE NCAA 10's gameplay and Madden 10's is supposed to be even better.

They should've at least included the Game Speed options.
The game will have a slider to adjust the speed. I agree that the game plays a little too slow for my taste but I like it. The past few editions of Madden didn't allow the gamer to play, just hike and throw the ball as quick as possible....

I believe everyone will find a happy medium. Slowing the speed in the demo has allowed me to actually see things that I haven't seen in Madden in years. Good pass blocking (although I am still seeing the suction block) and sweet animations.....

The demo is not bad. I liked NCAA10 so I knew M10 would come out pretty OK. However, I'm not happy at how EA handles their demos. How cheap do you have to be for 1min quarter demos? Come on EA, it's a demo for crying out loud. One minute quarters allows you to execute 2 plays a quarter; that's not a demo. I tried the Cowboys and Giants today it was horrible. Now that I have the Steelers and Cards the game feels a lot better. The consumer get's to try out the game a lot more and get a good feel for it. One minute is just being a J**.

Overall, not a bad demo. I've noticed some details. I'm not sure if this is new, but I saw the scoreboard tick up instead of jump to actual score. I'm still not happy about the sprint+juke combo. I don't like how they cancel each other out.
