I'm surprised with the thought that there is a very slim chance that Florida will make it to the National Championship. Returning 18 starters, all 11 on defense, and playing in a down SEC this year, there really aren't a whole lot of games that I could see them losing this year. If they don't lose their focus like they did in the 2nd half of the Ole Miss game last year I would be willing to say there is a 40 to 50 % chance of them making the National Championship game, as high as that seems.

I agree, Season Showdown is pretty lame but I see what they're trying to do, build some competition between players/teams and bridge a gap between the game and reality but it falls way short. And now that I chose it, it won't go away. Any game I play I get a warning now when I "run up the score."

And to get paid by Coca Cola.

Something I don't get is why they don't have sponsorships for useful things in the game.. Its always some cheesy useless mode or feature that the sponsorship goes toward.

I know that corporate sponsors are good, and add more to the budget of the title, but why not have them represent meaningful football things like formation subs, replays, national signing day, or even the Heisman Trophy presentation & then they could sign on Nissan..

I agree. When all is said and done, I don't think people give a hoot who's judged the better fans through season showdown.

its more of a marketing tool than anything else. its gives EA something to talk about from now until the bowl games, and i'd be surprised if we didn't see some kind of tie-in with the real games being played. i can see the Saturday Game Day feature now.

YAAWWWWWWN zzzzzzzzzzzz boring , tired of ncaa 10 haters.. At this point i'm actually pulling for this series..They made big mistakes in development, but the communication, the patches and upgrades were done well and in a timely manner. I can find flaws in any game if thats what i choose to focus on..I choose to focus on Ncaa 10's positives..I like the defensive additions to the game that NO ONE TALKS ABOUT, all you hear is Madden talk-protak this protak that..ive never seen people get so gleeful over a gang tackle, nfl 2k5 had that.. Or the perfect passing pocket, APF had that.

The feature and defensive changes in this years ncaa took a broken game and made it enjoyable and playable again.. next yr i hope they clean it up further and expand on what is now a solid game.

I am not a fan of this year. I am hoping it will be enough to keep me until Madden 10 but so far its not looking good.
