every one saying madden will be great....Think again. Every year on next gen has been touted as an amazing step forward with great new features, and every year the "new features" suck completely or dont even work(madden test). The franchise mode has been the exact same if not worse since it hit next gen. The drills are terrible. The gameplay is awful and there as so many over the top unrealistic things that happen, you are playing madden, and not even close to playing an NFL sim. online is nothing but people who call the same plays or just glitch. and they are amazing at the game because of it. Every single year we have been promised a great game and have gotten crap. until 09 it wasnt ever bareable. think back to how BAD 08 was with spectacular catches. then they dont work at all in 09. EA has yet to and i dont think THEY ever will make an average even representation of the sport, let ALONE a great game......so i would definately be weary of madden 10.

i will believe it when i see it. as much as i want to now, you just cant hope for a great game or it will crush you.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Review

Well these statements definitely let me down especially as a presentation junkie. I was actually thinking about trading in UFC to get this (Because I always own one game +Rockband at one time) but since the real reviewers gave me this valueable information...No way in hell.

I am so sick of people already talking about 2011 because this game released officially 3 hours ago pacific time. That alone tells you that EA, the NCAA team just do not care what they release...As long as they get millions of dollars. EA are money fiends...Yes money runs all...But typically when you pay or invest in something you get the product you deserve. NCAA Football's have been nothing to me but a paper pamplet and a disc. With all do respect EA is a very tacky company who could not care less about they're fan base. Ian is the man though...Atleast the man is responsive and tries...All I really ask for at this point is effort.

Fellas I have bought every NCAA game since 2001...And starting to get it at midnight releases since 2004. This year I am opting out of my NCAA's contract. Remember how players would be in the tunnel getting ready to run out? Remember the pre-game with Lee Corso would put on the mascots helmet? Remember the pregame...It was awesome. It is sad that 2k5 is 3x the game as '10 (By what you guys say) and it came out 5 years ago on last gen!

No ethics...I lost hope. EA

I agree, Presentation is Waaaaay off when it comes to this game.

The atmosphere that is College Football is nowhere to be seen nor heard from.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Review

How can it have good gameplay if the line interaction is still broken and the sliders don't work? I played the demo - it is the same wide open gameplay from last year.

I'll be waiting for Madden. It is sad that we don't have much choice when it comes to football unfortunately.

What version of the demo did you download? Fact is, the line interaction is clearly better than it was last year - leading to better gameplay. It's definitely not where it should be right now, but to say the game is as wide open as last year (despite the main issue which made it wide open having been fixed - pursuit angles) honestly leads me to believe you are lying about playing it, or just not paying much attention to details.

I think your dissapointment in the presentation department lowered the score more than needed 8.5 at the lowest.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Review

I am completely confused by reading this review. If this is a true " straight out of the box" review, how can a title with broken sliders, obvious graphical issue including clipping, state presentation and that poorly depicts the atmosphere of the sport it is meant to portray be an 8?...It is almost as if the review is of what you expect it be post-patch(es)
