And where is this auto-drop back? Was that written somewhere else? I don't mind it I am just curious as to how one would know how many steps it is on X play and what not.
Its from the distance of the QB to the WR. Account for a 5-7 yard drop back and triangulate the distance horizontally and the 20 yard range isn't very big unless its over the middle. I don't think a 5 yard out would even fit into that catagory. The triangle would be 10 by ~18 (5+5 for the vertical distance and 15-20 for the horizontal distance). That'd make it a throw of a little more than 20 and a half yards, just out of the short range, shich makes sense to me.

I think they said they had a Philly one, where eagles fans are peppering Santa with snowballs.

Auto drop backs make it so the players don't run backwards 20 yards and throw a lob to Randy Moss for a touchdown. Also, it automatically does three, five, and seven step drops which adds so much realism to each individual passing play you do. (Tip: You'll also be able to go through your progressions WHILE the Qb is dropping back)
Great point!

People need to stop using that cliche because that was so long ago and everyone uses it along with all the other common ones to chew out philly fans. Yall need to find a new one. You're not from philly, so you wouldn't understand. Didn't you hear the Mike Missanelli-Skip Bayless interview?

If thats the case they better have a way to alter the drop back presnap. Also include a way to make any play into a designed roll out otherwise slide protection will not be as usefull as it should be.

Does throwing snowballs at a drunk santa claus during a 2-12 40 years ago really make us all bad fans? I mean really

Re: Madden NFL 10 Developer Q&A (Gameshark)

Will expanding the rosters (fixing I.R. , 80 man rosters during offseason and training camp, practice sqauds)
be a priority for Madden 11?

I ask because of the dance around the "Q" from Abner's and OP's!

HC09 dev team was forth coming with info of what was in the plans for "the next version"!
