Does this patch fix the restarting issues in franchise, I had to delete the old patch cause it wouldn't let me sim to date in the offseason, it crashed my ps3.

This patch only addressed the replay issue. The thing is, I believe the patch is all-inclusive (meaning that 1.06 and the other formers would be installed as well when you install this one).

My understanding is that those issues shouldn't be present for files started AFTER the 1.06 patch is installed. Was your save from a franchise started PRIOR to the 1.06 patch? The schedule change goofed older franchises unfortunately (just kind of recapping, since I'm not sure how up to speed you are)

Also, on the issue itself, I believe there were a couple work arounds being discussed related to you problem (if it's not the conflict of a pre-patch franchise file trying to be played post-patch):

1. Some are saying autosave was causing issues with the "sim to date" stuff. Yo might want to try turning autosave off. I personally never use it anyway, so I couldn't tell you the specifics.

2. Rod_Carew had an issue with his game resetting and he was able to skip over those dates and then sim past it. That might be an option as well. He might be able to provide details on what he did.

If anyone could shed any light on the details involved with either of these, it might hopefully help you out. Good luck.

Question Re: MLB 09: The Show Mini-Patch (1.07) Released 5/19/09 - Impressions and Discussion

Haven't played The Show since April, back when I started my original franchise. Booted it up today, now that school is out, to get back into my franchise. I'm stuck on June 9th and can't get past the star date. After doing some digging it appears it's because my original franchise was started way back when. When I first started up the game today I was prompted to install patch 1.07...and I did...and, guess that was a no-no. Is there a way to just delete patches 1.07 and 1.06 and go back to 1.05 as it appears that's the last time I would have had issues? Or, do I have to just delete the entire game data and start over and not install any patches? If I start over...I assume I'll have to just play with version 1.01 or whatever it is that came out of the box?

If I delete the entire game data, do I have to backup my franchise save file somehow first? Or, if I delete the game data, will that leave my franchise stuff untouched?

Sorry guys, still a bit of a newbie here.

edit: Or....do I just assume go back to NCAA Football 09 until another patch gets worked out?

You can probably get past the date by simming past it...but you have to do it from another team's schedule. For example, if you are the Dodgers, navigate to the Blue Jays Schedule and sim to June 10th or 11th.

Just pick a random team (that you are not going to play against) and try it.

I'm still playing my franchise that I started about a week after the game was released and I've encountered one glitch like you describe. I simmed past it and I haven't seen any further issues. I'm just about done season 1 now. I've installed all patches for what it's worth.
