I haven't played the demo yet (stupid job! ) so it's possible that the effect is more pronounced this year than it was previously, but I promise you it's always been that way. The thing to do is to refrain from using sprint until you've broken into the clear.

EA, will you ever make it so the offensive line is not mentally challenged?

The offensive line should make mistakes. Defenses in the NCAA are very good. It's very difficult to block a player that is just as strong as you, but faster and quicker!

Anyway, i've played three quarters. All I have to say is WR middle screen! WR middle screen!!!!

edit: Wow. . Just did a play where I passed it to the TE, he got about 15 more yards downfield and then a DB made a decent one-armed tackle attempt coming up from behind, and the TE twisted/fell down but it took about 10 steps while he tried to maintain balance... Amazing!

try juking with both sticks left or both sticks right, then do both away from each other then both towards each other. I see subtle differences in the animations. Do you guys?

have you had any success with the play? I've tried it a few times and have yet to gain any yards. either the DB wrap swats the ball out of my WR's hands or the defense get to my QB and the pass is not accurate so the timing is off and the WR is tackled for a loss. or the ball gets knocked down by the DL.

Re: Official NCAA Football 10 Demo Impressions

The demo actually far exceeded what low expectations I had. The pocket was really good, and the rumbling controller was a nice touch to when you are almost getting sacked (knew this was in madden 10, but not ncaa 10)

One more thing I liked, Tebow (CPU) threw a fade to his WR and the animation was really nice, the receiver was bending and looking for the ball the whole time

New animations were nice... but some still annoying things:
1. Tebow (CPU) threw a pass to the RB who was already out of bounds.
2. Bradford (Me) threw a pass to a RB who was halfway out of bounds while in the catch animation.
3. Ive already seen the same 3 tackles over and over again.

But again, this was a much better game than I anticipated. This is what demos are for

^OSTA34, the best DE pass rusher should be Carlos Dunlap #8 for Florida. Kid is a freak, but doesn't unleash it all the time.

Re: Official NCAA Football 10 Demo Impressions

I just got tebow'd. he just ran over a few DBs but I ran him down with the MLB around the 5 yard line. then a few plays later he threw an Int(the first time the CPU has thrown an Int against me in this demo). definatly better than '09 overall. don't see how people can say it the exact same as '09. if this was '09, I'll be winning 42-0 in these 2 minute quarters.

it's not revolutionary different, but a big improvement vs CPU from my short playing time so far.

Yeah I only ran it once... It was a zone blitz from the opposite side so there was a defender hanging in the area, but waited for him to clear, threw a dart in there and he caught a couple blocks and got 8 yards.
