Man, this day ain't gonna move at all. I can't wait to get home and try this thing out. Good to hear that this pass rush thing may not be as poor as initially advertised.

Are the gameplanning elements present in the demo? If so, what are your thoughts? I would also be interested in impressions from anyone who has played head to head.

Thanks.
Game planning is in. You do see it happen as a result of you being aggressive or not. Seems to work and not be too over the top gimmick.

Re: Official NCAA Football 10 Demo Impressions

I'm really enjoying this demo so far. The gameplay seems a lot more smoother than last year. All the new animations are nice and I like how the CPU is aggressive at times. I can't just do whatever I want or keep running the same play over and over. It makes you have to switch things up. I also like how the controller vibrates when the defense is getting close to you and the animations to evade a sack are pretty neat. Had one where Bradford tried to throw the ball ubt I hit him right as he threw it and it popped into the air. My DE dove for it and intercepted it.

I'm pretty excited for this game again. My only concern it the Dynasty Mode, which is my favorite mode. The info in the demo and what I've read online, it appears as if they did nothing to it. Still getting this game, just looks like I'll be spending more time in Exhibition and online rather than Dynasty mode.

I do agree the demo is kinda dark, I had to turn the brightness up on my 52"DLP TV. Those of you with other types of tubes might not have the same issue.

Anyhow, have a few questions for you guys with the demo:

How is CPU play calling?
How is the CPU QB Play?
Have you seen many bad throws?
Is USER passing? too easy/hard or just right?
How is CPU DL pressure?
How is CPU run game?
How is kickoff/punt returns? too easy/hard or just right?
Are you seeing the CPU go deep more often? not s much?
-Play calling seems to be ok. Hard to get a good read with short clock.
-CPU QB panics too much imo. Will throw incompletes but seems to just chuck it when pressured. I wish they would tuck and run more.
-Quite a few bad throws. Good balance for me and CPU.
-User passing feels like you HAVE to have good touch or the ball will sail or too hot to catch.
-CPU DL pressure is great imo. I felt uncomfortable and when I tried to run sideways out of pocket the DE's were there to grab me.
-CPU run game is again hard to judge cause of time.
-Special teams seems fine.
-The CPU QB will throw deep. Nice to see.

The devs say this has been tweaked for the final build. Over-the-top tackles happen too much in the demo, but not in the finished game.
