Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 Impressions (PS3, 360)

This unlocking stuff is for the birds. I'm about halfway through the tournament challenges, and the only reason I made it that far is with Xbox Live being down all day for maintenance.

I drop down to pro to get through them, and they get really tedious. My big problem with them is that the whole object is to play 3-4 holes of nearly perfect golf. One little miss and you have to restart.

That's the strategy I'm taking. I was playing the challenges in Pro, with the boost, spin, and putt preview off, but it was progressing slowly. The only prayer I have of beating the Hard challenge at Bethpage Black is in Amateur, although I've failed to do it so far even at that.

You've hit the nail on the head. They are tedious. I just don't have the patience for some of the challenges.

The PGA Tour Season still uses all the courses though doesn't it? They just aren't unlocked for "play now" golf, yes?

I sold the game. It is good, but I won't even consider purchasing another Tiger Woods game until the following two gamekillers (for me) are fixed (and these are ridiculously easy to implement and reasonable requests:

1. Mid round saves. Purely inexcusable not to be able to save mid round. We all have lives...we all can't devote enough time for 18 holes all the time during one sitting.

2. Ability to start a PGA Tour season with a Pro. When I play Madden, I don't start a season with the New York Dragqueens with Johnny Douchebag at Quarterback. This is the PGA Tour....this is the only golf game...I want to play a season with a pro. This is not an unreasonable request.

Until these are added/fixed, I am done. Been there done that more or less in Tiger games for as long as I remember.

So I just bought TW10 for my new PS3 and when I boot it up my console automatically switches out of the HD display setting. It doesn't do this for any of my other games and I can't seem to fix it. I need help BIG time. I'm relatively new on the PS3 so I know I'm missing something. PM me if you have a solution. Thanks much in advance.
