NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue

That's a good point. EA has already admitted their own wrong on a MAJOR part of the game, and they are still shipping it. That's what's most unbelievable to me. They are still going to charge the 59.99 for a product that they have admitted is broken and don't have an answer to. That just boggles my mind.

Little Tommy ten year old won't even notice this. I can see why they would. Since they are trying to attract users 10 and under, they probably don't expect that big of a dent in sales.

It's not surprising when you acknowledge the corporate implications. Even if it is broken, it will be published, even if Tiburon are opposed to that decision. This might have been a mishap by the developers and testers, but they have no authority over the decision to delay the game for qualities sake. All that business comes from the top.

I can't believe this is actually happening. I guess the best thing to do is just erase the TB teams everyone created & make a whole new roster file. The community should come together & help EA w/ the rosters. I have 3 different pre-season mags sitting right in front of me, & I wouldn't mind submitting Arizona's or whoever elses roster in the game for them, as we are able to edit ratings, equipment & such on our own. There should a poll on the TB site asking the community what to do: erase the current teams everyone created for the sake of correct rosters, or keep your team & be screwed. I think the vote would be overwhelming for correct rosters. How long does it really take to create a team anyways? I did mine in like 15 minutes. There's over a month to get this thing straight, & if a lot of people join up we could the correct rosters would be done in less than a week. I'd even be ok w/ having the release date pushed back a week or 2 for the sake of correct rosters.

Thanks to Russ & Adam for coming in here & explaining it. I really hope they get it straight, but I'm not counting on anything.

I am really enjoying how madden is absolutely destroying ncaa in every way. This way the chances of the game actually being worth a buy next year are better... Add this roster incident to the list of why NCAA 10 sucks.

This issue makes EA look bad since this is a major issue that should have never happened. They should have seen this issue before they released Teambuilder. EA needs to quit focusing all of their energy and development into Madden because all of their other games are starting to show shoddy quality in both content and gameplay. To me, EA is coasting on the profits of Madden and assuming everyone will just keep buying their other titles since they are the only game in town.

I've looked at the gameplay videos and they both seem pretty identical to me...
