Re: NCAA Football 10 Video: Virginia Tech vs. Alabama - Part 1 (Chase @ E3)

some of my personal favorite saved video's from '09 are of slower defenders trying to return turnovers while being run down by faster offensive players. THAT happens too. I have a video of a little guy from Idaho named "Buckshot Johnson" (from the shared rosters last yr) that is just priceless as I am angling away from diving attempts by faster players to bring him down from behind.

Have I seen fumbles returned for TDs? Yes. Have I seen fumbles NOT returned for TDs... YES.

Just relax and enjoy the game. Which by the way, looks fantastic. Looking fwd !!

After last year's game, I am not impressed with this video. I WANT MY GAME BACK, WAY TO RUIN IT EA.

I've noticed this in a couple of other videos as well. Looks more natural, obviously not perfect but I definitely think its better

According to the rosters on teambuilder (which I know might not be 100% accurate), the DE in question has the following ratings:

Speed: 84
Acceleration: 85
Agility: 82

You guys wanna calm down? DEs in real life are not lumbering immobile athletes. They're basically slightly beefed up outside linebackers, and many of them are reasonably fast.

exactly, college DEs are fast these days and all of the skill guys are in the end zone or on the ground so he's got a solid 20 yard head start on any of the WRs so i think itd be more unrealistic if a WR was able to catch up and make up a 20 yard head start, not being blocked, on a guy that isn't slow to begin with.
