The reason we lost that game is because we let the Colts play their game rather than forcing them into ours. The defensive playcalling killed us. We were too conservative. When you are going up against a better team, you've got to take risks, and we just sat back and made sure they couldn't get the big play on us. The Colts deserved to win.

lol the thing is though, the Colt's game was just a better version of the Bear's game on the defensive side of the ball at least

The Superbowl ended on that day after the 1st Qrt....due to crap weather that imo ruined what could of been a Great SB.

Not saying Chi would of won,but the over all game would of been much better and exciting in a dome or good weather Day.

Yes. The offense managed a field goal and a 4 play 23 yard TD set up the the INT.

As far as the ratings,I think;

Hester should have a higher catch rating which would bump him up to around 75 anyway.

I think Greg Olsen could be a couple points higher.

Alex Brown's awareness should be higher bringing him up to 80 while Tommie Harris should be a couple points lower.

It would look as if Payne and Bullocks are your starting safeties when Manning,Graham, and Steltz are in the competition and should all be somewhat higher,especially Graham and Steltz.

I don't know if the rookie,Gilbert, should be your 2nd highest rated DT.I thought Adams was decent and I liked what I saw of Harrison.Rookie Dt's usually do nothing.

they were freakin 30th against the pass last year.

More ratings thoughts: is the rating for Greg Olsen given because they think he is bad or because he is good? I guess what im saying is, if they rated Greg Olsen an 82 or whatever because they don't think hes that good, then Desmond Clark should definitely be rated just as well (besides the speed). If they gave olsen that rating because they think he is good, then I am fine with him being above Clark.

Idonje should defintely be rated higher, dude is a solid player. Alex Brown should be rated higher than Ogunleye for sure. Brown has been our most consistent D lineman by far. Dvorachek is probably rated too high.

I think they have a lot of players (rookies this year, or rookies for the 2008 season) rated too high. I don't really know what you can do though, its hard to rate people with little to no NFL snaps. If you are trying to give them a rating, you are basically just doing a Mel Kiper impression and we all know how accurate he is...

edit: Daniel Manning is just as fast if not faster than Hester, so his speed is definitely low

I disagree with the Dvoracek rating. The dude always plays well, but then gets hurt. Just raise his overall rating and increase the injury rating and done.
