Not surprised about Hawk
But I think Cullen Jenkins should be at least an 86.

damn Hawk took a big downturn (from like 94), but after last year it should be expected. I think he'll do better in the new defense though. He won't be required to play coverage as much and he'll be able to play against the run which is what he's always excelled at.

8 three and outs plus two fumbles on the Carolina game. 67 pass attempts in the TB game. Are you seriously saying the D was not on the field too long on that game?

Oh I don't think Urlacher is too old to play, but I would agree he's been hampered by back problems a bit the past 2 years. I actually think if he were used less in coverage then he would do better, but being a MLB in the T-2 defense, you've kind of got to be. But you guys know your players better than I do so I won't try to argue that too hard.

Re: Madden NFL 10: Chicago Bears Ratings (ESPN Videogames)

Everyone knows that if the dline struggles then the rest of the defense will struggle. That was the reason the Bears defense looked bad at most of the time. Remember though the Bears defense still ranked:
5th in rushing yards allowed
16th in points allowed
3rd in interceptions

weakness were:
30th in passing yards per game
22nd in sacks

If they can get to the quarterback more consistently then the sacks will go up and the passing yards allowed will go down.

Anyways on to the ratings.
-I think Hester should be rated better than Bennett but oh well
-wheres Pisa??
Other than that I don't really have any problems because I know they will be changing during the season.

Also they don't have our 3rd quarterback because they are only allowed 55 players. In real life they are allowed to have more but have to inactivate players on gameday ala Head Coach. That is why Madden needs to allow us to sign more than 55 players.

What about the 17point second half lead against Carolina? No they were not on the field too long, for a supposedly elite defense (which in reality hasnt been that good since the first half of 2006, the defense did NOT carry them to that super bowl, the D limped into the playoffs). I think it was definitely a case of being out of shape, moreso than being on the field too long.
