Like yeah, that wasn't that good, but considering that it's an E3 build and also the other various improvements made to presentation in other areas of the game, I honestly can't see how people could get this upset over it. Adding music and making the commentary flow better and play more is something that can be done before the game goes gold.
how did I go overboard? I am confused....

I highly doubt it unless Alex Flanagan's studio lines are already recorded and for whatever reason weren't in this build.

and a little OCD complaint

"Jay Cutler just threw his 2nd interception for the day."

Even ignoring the engrish, what sort of stat overlay is that? Stat overlays don't narrate game action.

Wow... This is embarrassing. I started feeling awkward just watching this at home. I think they wasted their time on this feature, although I don't know how much time that could have possibly been. Most people will end up skipping this every game because it is not at all interesting or resembling a real halftime show. Unless they fix this its nothing more than wasted space

I'm sorry. After rereading your post, you weren't.

It's just that I read other posts by other people in here that were ridiculous and then when reading yours it was kinda set up in a similar way to theirs but yeah you weren't. Sorry for saying that.

The audio is pretty terrible, I hope the game atmosphere is at least improved. The cut-scenes are somewhat of an improvement at least in that department.

That is one of my biggest gripes with Madden, it just doesn't FEEL like NFL football, and this year doesn't look to be adding much to that. Sure, we have some new fluff but it's not true presentation.

In early vids of Madden 09, the commentary was worse than what it was in the final game. I remember it being very basic.

But yeah, if the halftime show is like this in the final game, that would be disappointing but either way, they have done so much to the game in just one year, I will give them slack for some things if they don't end up being as good as I thought they would be.

Will everybody chillout...all this negativity. We gonna feel salty if they decide the fans do not like it..because i know as fast as they created the halftime show, they can remove it. Then we'll have nothing. Yall buggin over a non finished product. Some of yall think they been trying to get the halftime show together for E3. No Im pretty sure they concentrated on gameplay for the convention. So everybody need to FALLBACK. Ian got this.
