You could ONLY really get a highlight if the game actually played.... visually. So unless you all want all simmed games to be played out on your box.... "live", you would just get something made up. Which is not really what I would like....I'm happy with what they got in there !

Besides, it is kind of fake because in real life you have to wait 5 years. In Madden, they get in (if worthy) as soon as the player decides to retire.

This pretty much is why I had no doubt I was buying this game the day it came out.
Every game is going to have its bugs and glitches, I can live through those.

Franchise for Madden 10 looks absolutely amazing, I can't wait.

I think he's a community manager, which means he might not be up to speed on every small detail about the game. I know russell_SCEA was similarly very careful about not wanting to say anything he wasn't absolutely sure about.

lol...take out the T.O. drama and you can likely pick several from any week in the game.

Injuries are a BIG news item in football...more than any other sport. As long as that's not ALL that's in it, I'm personally fine with it. Plus it was one week...maybe it was slow for news. Better real stories than MLB 2K7 where EVERY player was feuding with management...lol.

BTW, if you look at the headlines after Josh sims the week, the main headlines are game scores. So it may very well be more contextual than you're thinking.

First of all it was 3. While I tend to agree that David Diehl getting hurt is not a top story, and maybe not Shaun Phillips either... it's hardly enough to say Franchise looks pretty bad. Like, not even close to enough. In fact, I think the facelift looks great. I share some concerns that it may be mostly a facelift, but in isolation I really don't care about the top stories having 3 injuries and one game recap.
