maybe some day Ncaa and Madden will have the Coordinators talking to you like they did in head coach. maybe if they were the ones to alert you when linked plays have a chance at being effective it wouldnt seem like it was "dumming down" the game. Id eventually like there to be more interaction with your coaches in these games.

Bull.

I'm sure in the history of football it has happened, but it's hardly a regular occurence. Certainly players fumble in the open field, players fumble on just regular tackles all the time. (Another silly aspect of this system). If a player wants to be aggressive, the broken tackles should increase a ton. Make the penalty worth it.

You got that right. Pursuit angles destroyed last year's game.

And, yes, accelerated clock would be a huge addition!

jbdeuce: First of all, I totally agree with you on the "linked plays" thing. I do not want a percentage telling me when the play is ready to be run. On the other hand, when you say you didnt want to fool around w/ SS, you dont really have to fool around with it, you just select a team and play the game.

Good blog, quick question:

Will CPU controlled teams make use of the 'Gameplanning', 'Setup Plays', and 'Defensive Keys' options?

I would hope that the CPU would be able to take advantage of these tools also; or else the CPU controlled teams will be at a distinct disadvantage from a strategy standpoint.
