And that very same designer plays like a cheeseball http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/sports/n...ideos;title;18 (At 4:05)

How can we really believe anything they say when it comes to the improvements in 10'? We were lied to once why not again this year? And how can you ever expect a realistic representation of football when you have designers who play just like the little kids we play in 09' lobbies?

Yet even after that rant...I will still buy this game...

LOL... Not only does he Cheese, but he is pretty bad at the game too. Very obvious that he doesn't understand passing reads and having a level of progression. It is understandable of why the NCAA Series has become trash by just watching him play the game. EA needs to get some people in there that understand football. They need some type of consultant.

BTW... How many times did he use Gator Heavy? LMAO... Half of his plays.

I also see through this thread that many people now agree with me. NCAA lead man needs to find a new job. This game is not on my list to buy anymore. This will be the first time in more than a decade. I won't buy Madden either. I am boycotting all EA products until NCAA plays correctly.

BTW... Jeff Luhr owes me $60.00 for ripping me off on NCAA 09.

Even though Ben was playing on Freshman, I'd suggest he should adjust his sliders but in that build of the game they weren't working anyway. The way they can just flat out lie about the defense not being dumbed down is almost funny....

Haha. Wow. Ben=FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, what are we supposed to expect? Most of what the community wants is not in the game, but what the community does not want, like Season Showdown, is in the game! Come on! The game has pretty much been the same game every year since 06, but fluff was added. Wait, the game hasnt been the same stuff. Nope, its been different, but not the good different. The bad, I mean terrible, different. Way to listen to the wants of the community, Tiburon! Your parent company, EA, should be incredibly ashamed and embarrased that you guys are all over the forums, yet, do not listen to the wants of the games consumers. This has been said on the forum many times, and I will say it again, as long as Ben is working on the game, dont expect to see a college football game that mirrors realism. He knows nothing about football. If only NCAA got the NFL Head Coach developers, and not Madden...

Bottom line EA can do anything they want. The company is the most powerful gaming company out there. Just think about it...

The Sims...How many expansion packs do they have to release for 30-40 bucks? Highway robbery. Oh yeah Sims 3 is coming out...I wonder when the expansion will come out. Soon to be top seller.

Madden...The gameplay stays the same...All they do is add eye candy so it looks good in promos.

NCAA...Same deal...Homer features same gameplay.

NHL...Awesome game...Nothing bad about it. I applaud them.

Pretty much most there elite franchises

What is really sickening is the fact they are so rich, and they have SO many resources, but they are satisfied on releasing a below par product because there are so many casual gamers. I would say 70-80% of sport gamers are not hardcore...At the least.

Personally I think it's disrespectful to shamble an EA poster on this site. It's not like they want to make a bad game...You need to be mad at the men up the stairs.

My final thought on EA.

Extremely good business sense. Not too many companies can get away with making crappy games and end up being one of the most powerful gaming companies. I sincerely applaud them because it's no easy feat. I myself do not blame EA...I blame us...For being fooled so many times.

If I hear good reviews from you hardcore gamers I will rent or buy. Im not closed minded.

You know, I am probably looking past EA's neglect of gameplay improvements because they have brought back, (and improved) Create-A-School. I had plenty of fun tinkering around and playing with the schools I created, and it is something that has been on my mind ever since they removed it from next-gen. I really think they should take a hint from madden and work on gameplay and presentation instead of season showdown.

In its defense, it is an interesting concept, but not what the game needed now.

I want some better gameplay first of all, and next, some better presentation. I want to hear excitement from the color guys in game. I want to be kept up with what is going on in Dynasty Mode, and have maybe a knockoff "College Gameday" show that is telling me what is going on in the world of College Football. In other words, I want to be excited to play the next game! Once they bring back that spirit and fire, this franchise will be great again.

Damn after reading most of everybody comments, i can tell they havent done much. I was really pump until i read this. At least i can save 60 bucks and still wait to play my first next gen NCAA football or never. At least there will be madden. Its been too long i have played a next gen football game and really enjoyed it.

Wow, a ton of negative backlash on the formation subs.

I do not understand why people are so uptight about this, especially when every formation has a wide variety of package options, which is WAY more realistic. You see college football teams lining up in the same basic formation with different personnel in different locations all of the time. This is done to exploit match-ups and keep the defense guessing.

One other big advantage of the packages themselves the flexibility they offer throughout a dynasty. Personnel changes from year to year, and the different package options all you to move your best players around in creative ways. I think the system is borderline perfect, although I would like to see some "custom package" options in the years to come.

The only real advantage I see in the whole formation subs idea is to exploit one particular match-up or play over and over, which is highly unrealistic anyway.

Do you really think the hardcore group here is complaining because they can't cheese or exploit things? Why is it that everyone only thinks about offense when talking about stuff too?

The biggest thing I miss from formation subs was the ability to find snaps for backup linebackers and DL in certain packages. If I had a few good DEs, I'd have run stopping and pass rushing roles and rotate them in certain formations. Is it cheese to put my backup pass rushing 85 DE in the nickel and dime while my 86 rated run stopping DE plays in the 4-3 and goalline?

Some guys like to control who plays in the special teams formations. Rotating in backs can be offset with the packages but they don't handle every situation. Formation subs can be used to cheese by people but most people here wouldn't do that AND it's also EA's responsibility to build in some basic football sense so that people don't put WRs in at QB or TE without penalties.
