Re: New Screenshots from Ian's Twitter!!

I see it now. It's not a glaring game killer mistake though, is it?

For me, a glaring uniform mistake was in 08 with the Brown's away uniforms being totally wrong; the brown pants with striped socks were horrible.

But for the record, I guess if I were a Skins fan, I'd be miffed that after all these years the stripe was still wrong.

I love how you can see the pads through the shirt. I can tell from the pic that Troy is wearing white shoulder pads, thats awesome.

Re: New Screenshots from Ian's Twitter!!

As always, excellent looking pics. Pro-tak, the player emotions, and dirty pants are clearly demonstrated in these shots.

Time for some questions/concerns.

- I honestly feel like the skin tones are still too light for the darker players. Atari Bigby is a pretty dark guy:

It'd be nice to see this reflected in the game, instead of his creamy-milk chocolate color.

Also, as someone mentioned, the dreadlocks still leave an incredible amount to be desired. Look at Bigby's above. These things flow. They're everywhere, flying around as he lays the lumber. Same goes for Al Harris and probably many other dreadlocked guys in the league. Not everyone wears it in a pony like Fitz or Stephen Jackson.

I really hope this isn't the work of the NFL. I know that, in return for the exclusive license, the NFL was more involved in the presentation of the their players, resulting in some moves which I would call undo censorship. The primary case, of course, has been the removal of tattoos, which I find reprehensible. I think the very limited and tame digital dreadlocks in Madden may have fallen victim to the same NFL "image-cleanup" squad. Bull****, I say. If the players are allowed to have tattoos and flowing hair on Sunday, then it should be in the game. I realize it's a little nit-picky, but this is something that I feel violates the individuality of the players.

Second question: Who is the Packer being tackled? A previous poster seemed to think it was Brandon Jackson, our back-up RB. But I thought no way...far too skinny and far too light. I think it could be Ruvell Martin, #82. If it is Jackson then there are some serious problems still with the skin tones.

He looks more like that.
Man for being a Hamlin fan you sure don't know him very well, he wears a schutt helmet robot facemask with a clear visor, he wore it all last year sometimes without the visor.

The only issues in the screenshots are some uni errors (which im not concerned about for certain reasons ) and the visor clips are still upside down and in the wrong spot.

Haha, you always check the hell out of people Kane.

On topic: These pictures, more specifically the Redskins pic, look astounding. Great screenshots.

+1. Chargers uni has been messed up for a long time along with alot of others and there is no excuse for it. Really hoping they finally fix the bolts but, i'm a little skeptical about it. I got a feeling the chargers uni won't be addressed but, Ian has surprised me before so I gotta little hope for the uni's left.

Well I think that's a combination of you missing some screens and not every single player in the NFL having an "oh my gosh i am going to scream because of my kidney stones" level of intensity to their facial expressions.
