The more I think of it, the more I think I'm going to get the Wii version for the 1:1 swing mechanics.

I might take that route also, especially after seeing the Wii version given a long run through on G4's X-Play last night. They showed the 1:1 swing in action several times on punch and partial shots and it looked really linked.

Why can't they make the clubs look realistic? The club heads are still has big as their hands.

I can't really see too much from the demo, since it's on easy. I did like the new putting system and when it was raining the putts slowed down.

Locked on easy....either a stupid move or done so 'advanced' users can't see all the talk of being more 'sim' is just that. Leaves golf sim fans still hopeful right up until they plop their money down. Well, I've been fooled by that snake oil saleman one too many times already. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The demo is alright, not too much new. I do dislike the ball trail, I hope you can turn it off. I like that they added Oakmont, I was there for the US Open a couple years ago.

Am I the only one still not impressed by the graphics in this game? PS2 Twoods was one of the best looking sports games out.
