Not a negative but you've admitted yourself that you're extremely hard on the game. It's not bad because it counters some of the people that are always extremely positive about the game. Maybe cynical is a better word. I'm just saying you look for the differences and call them out.

Have you played the game, and experienced these new improvements first hand? Maybe they don't impact the game as much as the EA team is clamoring? Or is that simply not a possibility because the Dev team is on the message board now?

And call me crazy, but I expect a lot more then an accurate pocket forming. This is a company that has sold close to 7M copies each of the last 7 years. Multiply that by $60 and you see the kind've resources the team should have at their disposal.

No excuse for this game not to be revolutionizing the sports gaming genre every year.

No, I haven't played the game but I am open to important game play improvements. So, I should be mad that Madden team is trying to produce a quality game?

I last revolutionizing football game didn't sell too well but it is the best playing football game to date.

But Madden 08 was flaming garbage as it was a broken mess with weak graphics... I can't even respect a reviewers view on football games after they've put that piece of junk in high esteem.

My point is that the magazines for the most part have very casual players reviewing these football games. They don't look for all the little nuances nor do they care. They don't care about the stuff we care about. So it's not a stretch to fathom that they wouldn't pick up on the difference in feel between 09 and 10... well, I think something would have to be wrong with a person's nervous system to not pick up on it, but given the mags track records on Madden reviews I can still believe they'd miss it. But when I tell you they're wrong, they're so dead wrong... they've become dust blown away in the wind; that's how dead wrong they are about this. If it weren't for their track records, I'd actually be stunned at hearing them say this. The only way they could be right is if EA completely changed everything about how the players moved, gamespeed, etc. since we left, and I sincerely doubt that happened.

Bottom line, when you get the game you'll see that it does feel different and does not play the same just in terms of feel alone... and it's tweakable to your liking. And nothing influenced me to feel that way, lol. I can tell the difference between a game that defied the laws of physics on every down (Madden 09) to one with weight and momentum playing a factor (Madden 10) and if didn't I would've said so. I spent all Winter talking about this and it was at the top of my agenda for Community Day.

I have nothing to lose by being truthful and nothing to gain by pretending. It is what it is and you'll see August 14th.

I like this review better...

This is what you call a straw man argument. I never said you should be mad that the team is trying to produce a quality game. I dont doubt Ian and his development team are doing everything in their power to increase the quality of the game, and never made a point to the contrary. I feel like there are obstacles out of their control that are truly holding the game back, but I digress.

You seem to be speaking about the gameplay improvements as if they're a matter of fact. Yet, you never played the game. This seemed like a contradiction, and I was merely pointing that out.

You are a joke.......... that is all.

Seriously I have no problem saying a good or bad thing about the game, there are plenty of errors and things that need to be fixed and for once you know what?

They are actually listening to me.
