Who cares if Madden wins at the end of the day. Backbreaker should just be football and hold it's own ground. With the right options, graphics, gameplay, and presentation. It can stand on it's own two feet and be a seller each year. Just like Blitz did for years even after they lost the license.

Good football is good football. They just need to set up the right options and not restricted it from being solid football.

Also good marketing will be have to be a major thing with it.

I am hoping for this game to come out(and be good), but unless you have secret videos which the public has not seen then that comment is just wrong.
What he means is the animations appear to be more realistic. So, visually at least, this game seems more realistic.
How is his comment ignorant?

This game does look amazing. If it's fully customizable, as rumoured, then this game is definately on my wishlist.

This is the part I'm probably most "concerned" about with this game. In thise latest vid, there aren't ANY people, refs, NOTHING on the sidelines. People say "who cares", but I'll bet these same people have been knocking Madden for years about their lack of "the little things".

THe game needs to have SOME sort of immersion through atmosphere or it will quickly become stale, not matter HOW good the physics.

Re: New Backbreaker Video

When are we going to see some actual football? Not closeups of tackles? At what point are we going to see and find out about the actual X's and O's pieces of the game?

I keep hearing how this is going to more realistic than Madden, and I hope that's true, but I have yet to see any actual evidence of that.

Hell I am still waiting to see if it's actually going to be published,.

If he meant animations, then I took the post the wrong way. What I thought he was talking about was how it represented football gameplay wise. But, if that is not the case, then I apologize.
